Stampin’ Up! Vintage Heartfelt Blooms!

Hey there! For today's project I went in a completely different direction with Heartfelt Blooms. Up to now most of my creations have been more clean-and-simple or contemporary, but today I went full-blown vintage for a 180 degree difference!

I don't think any color combo says vintage much more than Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Powder Pink!

I created two versions of this card. My first one was less "shabby chic". I embossed the Very Vanilla front layer with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder after cutting out a window with the Lots of Labels Framelits.

I framed the opening with a layer of Powder Pink cut with two next-to-size Lots of Labels Framelits.

The fonts of Heartfelt Blooms are just so pretty! I stamped behind the greeting with the same bloom with the left over ink from stamping the front center.

My second card was much more "shabby chic" with its' vintage-ness!

I inked the inside of the Hexagons Dynamic folder with Crumb Cake ink before inserting and embossing the Very Vanilla layer.

I added a bow tied with Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim.

Both cards have a Clear Faceted Gem for sparkle.

These cards are also "flex fun fold", with the 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" card base scored and folded at 4 1/4" and 6 3/8".

Folding in a "z"-type fold, this is my favorite card fold right now!

A simple inside with the Heartfelt Bloom added in the corner with stamped-off Crumb Cake.

Both cards have the daisy center colored with a Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends Marker.

Stampin’ Up! Pop of Paradise from Jan!
