Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Anniversary!

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Anniversary!

Hey there! I played quite a bit with the Abstract Impression Bundle, using Balmy Blue and Silver Foil to create a nifty anniversary card:

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps1-1

The card base is a classic "z-fold"; 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Silver Foil was cut with a Springtime Impressions Thinlet, then adhered with liquid glue applied with a small paintbrush.

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps2

I heat embossed the greeting from Stitched All Around with silver powder, then punched and rounded the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. My supply table below says Pearl Basic Jewels in error, they are actually Metallic Pearls #146282.

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps3

Inside I added a layer of Silver Foil, then punched the corners of the white layer again with the Detailed Trio Punch and then embossed the sentiment from Stitched All Around.

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps4

This was actually a pretty quick and easy card!

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Easel!

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Easel!

Hey there! You knew I would eventually make an easel card with Abstract Impressions, didn't you! I love the easel-fold, and this bundle feels like it was created for it!

I chose Melon Mambo for my card  base, stamped on the white layer with Melon Mambo ink, then sponged the flowers and leaves cut with a Springtime Impressions Thinlet. I used new Shaded Spruce, Powder Pink, Melon Mambo, and new Highland Heather.

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps1

I added black faceted gems for some sparkle.

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps2

Inside I cut the sentiments with Celebrate You Thinlet Dies, then sponged them with the same colors as the front. The cut sentiments are flexible, so I was able to curve them a bit as I was adhering with liquid glue "painted" with a small brush.

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions, CASEing Myself!

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions, CASEing Myself!

Hey there! I CASED myself when creating this card for Cindy's Stamp Camp today with Abstract Impressions. She was looking at my recent creations and chose THIS card, but requested it in a different color, so I used Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lime Twist. I love the original, but I sure am diggin' these colors too!

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps1

I really, really, really LOVE this sentiment! It's from Abstract Impressions too!

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps2

This card combines the Spotlighting Technique with a paper-saving tip: Cut the greeting mat directly from the stamped front layer!

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps7

After you add the Coastal Cabana oval mat behind the greeting and adhere with dimensionals, you'll never be able to tell where it came from!

Stampin_up_abstract_impressions_carolpaynestamps8

Photography is so weird. This is the inside of the same card, but here you can really tell it's Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lime Twist. In the pic above the colors look like Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzazz!

Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around!

Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around!

Hey there! Today I have a card with the new Stitched All Around Bundle! I know I'm going to be using this one A LOT!

I started with a Delightfully Detailed Notecard base. These notecards are pre-printed with a watercolor wash of Blackberry Bliss or Mint Macaron, so your background is already done! I added a strip of Share What You Love Designer Series Paper, then wrapped the front with Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. This ribbon makes a knot look like you tied a bow!

Stampin_up_stitched_all_around_carolpaynestamps1

I used Shaded Spruce and Blackberry Bliss markers to ink the sentiment before stamping on the intricately cut and "stitched" label. At first I thought the die didn't cut all the way through, but further inspection assured me this is the way it's supposed to look! For my final touch I added an embellishment from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.

Stampin_up_stitched_all_around_carolpaynestamps2

Inside I stamped more sentiments and a vine from Stitched All Around:
