Stampin’ Up! Part of My Story Sale-a-bration!

Hey there! Today I want to share another card I created for my Sale-a-bration Kick-off Card Class last weekend with the Part of My Story stamp set and Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, both from the Sale-a-bration catalog!

I used three different prints from the Sale-a-bration freebie designer series paper, Botanical Butterfly, punched with the Tailored Tag Punch.

I adhered the tags with the ends hanging off the edges of the base layer. I then trimmed them all even with the edges with Paper Snips.

I adhered all of the tags with the exception of the center greeting, then embossed the layer with the Polka Dot Basics folder and the Big Shot.

I adhered a looped piece of Gorgeous Grape 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon together with a glue dot, then adhered under the greeting tag with another glue dot. I adhered the greeting tag with dimensionals over the ribbon loop.

I used a sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays on the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lattice Black Embossed!

Hey there! Now that I've finished sharing Sale-a-bration swaps I have on hand (there will certainly be more in the future!), I want to share this card I created for my Stampin' Garage Sale Stamp Camp with the Lovely Lattice Sale-a-bration free set!

I decided to use a neutral color combo of Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, and Basic Black to showcase this gorgeous image. I chose to use heat-embossing with Black powder to really make the image pop! I stamped the Handwritten background on a Crumb Cake layer with Crumb Cake ink for a subtle tone-on-tone look.

After embossing the greeting from Kindness & Compassion I punched with the Pretty Label Punch and added a single Gold Faceted Gem.

I heat embossed the inside layer too. I like to cut my inside layer 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". You can get five layers from one sheet of card stock instead of the normal four with these dimensions.

I sponged the Botanical Butterfly print with Crumb Cake ink to give it more of a Very Vanilla look before adding to the outside of the envelope flap. Crumb Cake dirties up things quite nicely!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Tuesday, More Sale-a-bration Swaps!

Hey there! I'm sharing more Sale-a-bration swaps today because on February 15th Stampin' Up! releases a second collection of Sale-abration choices!

Karen Kurz stamped the Tea Together teapot on a Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet (SAB) , cut with a Tea Time Framelit. The greeting was cut with a Well Written Framelit.

Jenna Roby used Tea Together and Tea Time Framelits (you need to order $100 before tax & shipping to get them free). White Glossy card stock, All My Love Designer Paper, and Layered Leaves Dynamic Folder.

Lovely Lipstick and Soft Seafoam Stampin' Blends to colored the teapot.

France Martin used the other $100 Sale-a-bration freebie, Lasting Lily:

She colored the white side of a Colored Doily with Blueberry Bushel ink and added a few Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins for sparkle.

Sharon Tong-Robinson also used Lasting Lily for her calm and serene sympathy card:

Stephanie Flath combined Lasting Lily with Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Paper, a Heart Epoxy Droplet, and a Stitched Shapes framelit.

Stephanie used the Diagonal Fold technique to add more interest to a less-than-fun reason to send a card.
