Stampin’ Up! Ribbon of Courage!

Hey there! I had a request from a hostess to make a card using the Ribbon of Courage bundle from page 96 of the Annual Catalog. I've seen so many pretty cards made with this bundle of stamps and framelits, I kind of jumbled a bunch of ideas together to create this with Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper as my background and color palette!

I used Support Ribbon Framelits to cut the "vase", blooms, and petals from Wisteria Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Powder Pink, and Pear Pizazz.

I cut "friend" with a Lovely Words Thinlet from Basic Black card stock to make it pop!

I stamped everything with Momento Tuxedo Black ink so I could color the flowers and the heart on the envelope with Stampin' Blends.

I used Dark Pink Pirouette, LIght Calypso Coral, Dark Old Olive, and Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blends.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day August 20!

Hey there! Sunday! The day to rest! Get ready to rest, relax, and be inspired with these great swaps!

First, Tamie Ackerson used the Bright Wishes set to emboss on vellum and then color on the back side using the Stained Glass Technique!

Next Linda Pagel chose the Celebration Time Bundle and added the Garden Trellis background for a lovely birthday card!

Ruth Anne Lilley combined Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black, Whisper White with e smidge of gold to create her card. She used a strip of Eastern Palace Specialty paper with the Eastern Beauty stamp set and Eastern Medallions Thinlets. She used the new Decorative Ribbon Border at the bottom.

This Little Piggy was the choice Maria Mitsdarfer used for her fun swap!

Seongrook Duncan used Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, and Whisper White for her color combo with the Ribbon of Courage set:

Finally, Bonnie Waterman combined Heartland and Swirly Bird with Color Theory Designer Paper (Dapper Denim) and Aqua Painter coloring for her creation:
