Stampin’ Up! A Good Day!

Hey there! I used Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (which is retiring and now sold out) with A Good Day for my cards today. Thanks to Linda Heller for the stamping on muslin inspiration!

I stamped on muslin fabric with Basic Black ink (retiring), coloring the image with Stampin' Write Markers using a light touch of the marker to keep the ink from bleeding.

For my next creation I simply flipped the first Delightfully Detailed print over to the other side!

I layered the focal image on a Stitched Shapes square, which mimics the stitching stamped around the "bring on the sunshine" image. I colored the clouds with Pool Party and the Sun with Daffodil Delight markers.

Tips for using the Mini Embroidery Hoops:

1. After stamping and coloring the image, cut out with a Layering Circle Framelit and Big Shot. The framelit won't completely cut through the whole circle, but it will cut enough you can easily finish the job with Paper Snips.

2. Punch about 5 circles from Whisper White or Very Vanilla Thick card stock to adhere behind the muslin image. Use the 1" Circle Punch for the smaller hoop and 1 1/4" for the larger hoop. Adhere the circles together into a stack using Liquid Glue.

3. Adhere the Mini Embroider Hoop around popped-up image with Liquid Glue.

4. Adhere the whole piece to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
