Stampin’ Up! Mediterranean Achiever’s Blog Hop, Baby Love!
Hey there! Welcome to the April Edition of the Mediterranean Achiever's Blog Hop! Our theme this month is "Baby Love", and I just can't get the Diana Ross song out of my head! In spite of that, I'm sure you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you are about to see!
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Carol Payne Stamps, or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Carol Payne.
For my project today I chose to use the single stamp, Easter Lamb. We just found out that my daughter is expecting a little girl in September, so this card was easy to create!
I used the retiring Circles Collection Framelits for the card base and some layers, and the retiring Floral Frames Framelits too! Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper, Whisper White, and Blushing Bride card stock support the girly theme.
I heat-embossed the lamb with white powder on Crumb Cake card stock, cut it out with a circle framelit, then sponged with White Craft ink. I embossed the Blushing Bride flower behind the lamb with the Happy Hearts folder and cut 1/4" Blushing Bride Cotton ribbon in half to create the tiny bow.
I white heat-embossed "it's a girl" from A Dozen Thoughts (retiring) on Blushing Bride before punching with the retired-and-sold-out Washi Label Punch. Paper-piercing in each scallop of the circle is an easy and affordable embellishment. All you need is a Stampin' Pierce mat and a Paper-Piercing Tool!
Inside I white heat-embossed a phrase from Happy Happenings, a set which thankfully IS NOT retiring!
A special card like this needs a special envelope, and the Envelope Punch Board delivers a lovely one!
I punched a Decorative Label from Crumb Cake and heat-embossed another Happy Happenings phrase with white powder. Attached with a dimensional on the ends, it makes an easy envelope closure.
Thanks so much for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss! Remember, currently you are at my blog – Carol Payne, so check the blog hop line up to see who is next in the list.
