Stampin’ Up! Whole Lot of Lovely!

Hey there! I just love the Whole Lot of Lovely Suite! The stamps, the paper; everything in this suite is so "lovely"!

I started with a Pool Party card base, then added a layer of Pear Pizzazz embossed with the Petal Burst folder. I cut out a peach from the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper, adhering with SNAIL. I prepared Basic Black with a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the backside before cutting with the Happy Birthday Thinlets Die. I added a single rhinestone to dot the "i".

Inside I stamped flowers from Lots of Love with Pool Party ink in two corners. I stamped the flowers again on a Post-it Note, then cut out the flower to create a "mask". I put the mask over the stamped flower so I could stamp the leaves to make them look like they are behind the flowers. This sentiment from Lots of Love is perfect for the inside.

Rhinestones filled in the flower centers perfectly for a bit of bling!

Stampin’ Up! Lots of Love on Vellum!

Hey there! We had a great day at the zoo yesterday! 18 of our 20 family members, including all 9 grandchildren! We had 9 adults to 9 kids! A good ratio whenever you're trying to keep track of everyone in the heat and in the throngs of people!

Today I have a quick and easy card created with the Lots of Love stamp set again. I stamped the large "sending lots of love" on vellum with Basic Black Archival ink for a different look:

I started with a Pool Party card base, then adhered the vellum to a layer of Pear Pizzazz with a thin coating of Multipurpose Liquid Glue applied with a Stamping Sponge. There were a few gaps in the black wording, so I used my Journaling Pen to fill in. I stamped the leaves from Lots of Love with Pear Pizzazz ink, and dried all of the inks by gently using my Heat Tool. I wrapped Bermuda Bay 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon around both layers before adhering to the card base. Three tiny rhinestones were my finishing touch.

I made sure the thin coat of glue extended all the way to the corners. Using the glue all over the back side of the vellum keeps adhesive lines from showing.

Stampin’ Up! Lots of Love!

Hey there! One of the first suites in the new catalog that really caught my eye was Whole Lot of Lovely. I knew it would be at the top of my wish list and was indeed part of my first order. You will find this suite on pages 86 and 87 of the new Annual Catalog. I have been playing with this set for the past few days, and let me tell you, I'm in love with Lots of Love, Whole Lot of Love Designer Paper, and everything else in the suite!

I just love the colors of this paper, especially the designs that are combined with a Basic Black background. I pulled the Pool Party color from this paper to emboss with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder for the background to layer all of my elements:

I stamped the leafy "thinking of you" medallion twice, first with Pear Pizzazz and second with Basic Black. I punched the Basic Black medallion with the Classic Label to create a "spotlight" look for the greeting. I layered both onto Basic Black punched with the Starburst Punch (REALLY LOVING this punch!), and added a Blushing Bride Enamel Shape. The Basic Black 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon is totally the bomb! I can't wait to order all of the rest of the colors of this ribbon!
