Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day October 11th!

Hey there! Today we will be celebrating our October birthday girls, my daughter Alisa and her oldest daughter, Ivory! Ivory is turning 4 today, so we are going to her house for a family party and I'm taking a pumpkin cheesecake for Alisa.

I will be sharing their birthday cards and a birthday banner I made for Ivory over the next few days, but today, of course, is Sunday Swap day, so of course, I'm sharing swaps!

Finally, Tamra Davis used the Poinsettia Petals Bundle, on sale Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper, Plush Poinsettia Specialty, Festive Felt Sheets, and 3/8" Embroidered Ribbon.

She was able to cut the poinsettia directly from the Plush Poinsettia Specialty with a Poinsettia Die, and she cut the center from a Festive Felt Early Espresso Sheet.

Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath!

Hey there! With the 15% Off Select Designer Series Paper Sale this month, my project today was created with two of the sale papers: In Good Taste and Forever Greenery!

I combined them with the Arrange a Wreath Bundle:

After cutting Garden Green and Forever Greenery with the same wreath die, I laid the Garden Green on top of the Forever Greenery wreath, then pulled the Forever Greenery bottom leaves over and around the Garden Green ones. I adhered to the wood-look In Good Taste Designer with glue dots. I cut Cherry Cobbler card stock with tiny flower dies from the Wreath Builders. I added a pearl in each and a double-looped bow of Linen Thread.

I punched the heat-embossed greeting with the Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch:

Inside is a sentiment from Wrapped In Christmas:

Stampin’ Up! Misty Moonlight Country Home!

Hey there! Today I have another Country Home card, this time created with the color combo of Misty Moonlight, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White!

On this one the pitcher and bouquet are both hand-cut with paper snips:

While cutting these I made sure to leave a thin edge of white around everything so the cutting didn't have to be perfect. Leaving a narrow bit of white lets your eye "see" the stamped image but not focus on the cut edge.

I brayered the Brick & Mortar embossing with White Craft ink for more definition and texture. I love the Misty Moonlight/silver/white twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo! I colored the florals in the cotton boll bouquet with Stampin' Blends.

I used another sentiment from Here's a Card inside and stamped "LOVE" from Country home directly on the milk can.

Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy Country Home!

Hey there! Today I have a beautiful card to share with you created with Night of Navy card stock, Misty Moonlight ink, and In Good Taste Designer Series paper. I wanted to use Country Home with this pretty Night of Navy tile-looking print, so came up with this:

After embossing a layer of Misty Moonlight with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder I lightly added White Craft ink with a Sponge Brayer. I love how this technique gives the bricks so much more texture! (See my printable directions at the bottom of this post for full details to make this card)

I used the Banners Pick a Punch to create the greeting strip.

Inside I used one of my favorite sentiments from Here's a Card.

I covered the envelope flap with the same print from the In Good Taste Designer Paper pack to coordinate!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Step Three!

Hey there! Today I have the third in my progressive series of Celebrate Sunflowers birthday cards. I stepped-up this one just a little bit more with another embossing folder and the Sunflower Dies!

I added a layer of Cinnamon Cider embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder behind the die-cut sunflower. I also added Cinnamon Cider ink to the Hammered Metal embossing with a sponge dauber. You can't really see it in the picture but I added Clear Wink of Stella to the sunflower center after I popped it up with dimensionals.

I added a bow tied with Bumblebee 1/4" In Color ribbon and a Bumblebee In Color Enamel Dot.

I finished off the inside with a smaller sunflower colored with Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Write Markers and cut with a Sunflower die.
