Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there. I've spent the past week cuddling the most adorable baby boy, Lando, and chasing and cuddling his big brother, Oakley! I'm so thankful and blessed! Right now I'm home for the long weekend, giving the little family some together time, but I will be going back on Monday evening to help out the rest of the week.

Since it's Sunday, it's time to share some swaps:

First, Laura Milligan used the largest phrase image from the Hello Life set, adding banners, white baker's twine, and a bit of gold sequin trim to give it a balloon look!

Next, Emily Tull combined Painted Petals Designer Paper with the single-image stamp Love is Kindess. She added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the blooms and "tied" a bit of Linen Thread around the newspaper wrapper.

Third, Mary Ann Sedlacek chose one of the Cheerful Critters for her swap. She punched the top of the tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, added punched banners, and tied the ribbon from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack with a bit of Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine.

Finally, Jan Rodrian chose the Sale-a-bration set, Lotus Blossom, to create her swap. The Lotus Blossom set is photopolymer only, and is actually a THREE-STEP stamp set!

The Online Card Class run January through June 2015 with a Birthday theme. Stampin’Up! Fabulous Four!

Hey there! I have a really cute and unique card for you today, one of the swaps I received in November created by Brenda Hukriede:

Brenda combined Soft Sky with Lost Lagoon and Whisper White, stamping images from the Fabulous Four set with Lost Lagoon ink. This card moves! Pull down on the Lost Lagoon section at the bottom and you reveal:

Brenda used the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Folder on the cover of her card, then cut out stars with both the Stars framelits and the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I'm definitely going on a hunt for the directions or will reverse-engineer this card so I can show you how to make it!
