Mountain Air by Kathy Johnson. This set and dies are carrying over to the New Annual  Catalog, and are even carrying over as a bundle with the Majestic Mountain Dies! She used a Timeless Tropical sentiment and created her sun with the 1" Circle punch, which is on the Retiring list.

Stampin’ Up! Country Club to the Rescue!

Stampin’ Up! Country Club to the Rescue!

Hey there! Today I have another card created with the I Say Hello/Country Club Designer Series Paper combo. I wanted to use another one of the prints from the piece that has a total of 12 focal images, and this time I wanted to color it for you!

Stampin_up_country_club_hello_carolpaynestamps1

I chose the picture that was the least golf-related, then colored it with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers!

Country Club 2

I colored the trees with a Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends, the trunks with a Light Soft Suede, the grass with a Dark Soft Sea Foam, the water with a Light Seaside Spray, and the sky with a Dark Seaside Spray.  You really can't tell in this picture, but I added Clear Wink of Stella to the water to give it some watery shimmer!

Stampin_up_country_club_hello_carolpaynestamps4

After mounting the focal image on a Basic Black mat, I adhered it to the card base that I had layered with this very masculine Basic Gray, Basic Black, and Smoky Slate plaid. I cut a 1/4" x 5 1/2" strip of Basic Black for a "ribbon, then added a 1/2" circle of Silver Foil embossed with the retiring Button Button Embossing Folder. I thought this "button" looked like a golf ball!

Stampin_up_country_club_hello_carolpaynestamps5

I kept the inside minimal and basic with a sentiment from I Say Hello.

Stampin’ Up! Going, Going, Gone!

Stampin’ Up! Going, Going, Gone!

1723402_10152213035905070_85588169_n

Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop! Our May theme is "Going, Going, Gone" in reference to the Stampin' Up! Retiring List! Everything on it will be GONE after June 2nd!

My project for the hop is with several retiring items: Layered With Kindness, Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder, and already sold-out Gorgeous Grape 1/4" Mini-Striped Ribbon.

Stampin_up_layered_with_kindness_carolpaynestamps1-1

I punched the Layered With Kindness greeting with the Label Me Lovely Punch, the added  retiring Noble Peacock Rhinestones (Gorgeous Grape). I even colored the tiny flourish under and above the rhinestones with a Light Purple Posy Stampin' Blend! The Highland Heather card front is embossed with the retiring Country Floral 3D embossing folder, then gently sponged with Highland Heather ink.

Stampin_up_layered_with_kindness_carolpaynestamps4

Inside I stamped and punched this Layered With Kindness sentiment with the Label Me Fancy punch.

Stampin_up_layered_with_kindness_carolpaynestamps8

I stamped the front and back of the envelope with Layered With Kindness images and Mint Macaron and Highland Heather ink.

Stampin’ Up! I Say Hello at the Country Club!

Stampin’ Up! I Say Hello at the Country Club!

Hey there! The card I have to share with you today is with I Say Hello again, but this time I paired it with the Country Club Designer Series Paper that is retiring from the Spring Mini Catalog. I never got around to ordering the Clubhouse stamp set that coordinates with this paper; there were sooooo many lovely stamps to choose from! One of my Yes Mam! Stampers team girls did, so I did get a chance to stamp with it a little bit at one of our team meetings. If you are a golfer or married to one, you just might want to order this suite of products before it's gone on June 2nd. There's nothing like it in the new Annual Catalog.

Stampin_up_country_club_designer_carolpaynestamps1

I used the print you can see on the far left of the above picture for my focal image, then built my card around it.

Stampin_up_i_say_hello_country_club_carolpaynestamps2

This print (there are two sheets on this in the package) is spaced perfectly so you can cut it into twelve 4-inch-by-3-inch pieces, perfect for card fronts!

Country Club 1

You can color these prints with blender pens, watercolor pencils, sponge daubers, or Stampin' Blends. I chose to leave this one black-and-white. It really "pops" against the bright argyle-layer under it!

Stampin_up_i_say_hello_country_club_carolpaynestamps3

I heat-embossed the "my friend" from I Say Hello on a scrap of Garden Green with white powder, then used a Smooth Sailing die to cut it out.

Stampin_up_i_say_hello_country_club_carolpaynestamps5

Inside I used another I Say Hello sentiment to keep it simple. It worked great on the edge of the envelope too!

Stampin’ Up! I Say Hello Birthday!

Stampin’ Up! I Say Hello Birthday!

Hey there! With the I Say Hello stamp set on the retiring list, I wanted to stamp with it at least one more time, so I put together this little birthday card with retiring Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and Purple Posy!

Stampin_up_i_say_hello_carolpaynestamps1

Although a Purple Posy ink pad is not available at all due to quality issues (the color wouldn't stay stable a few weeks after stamping), Purple Posy card stock and Stampin' Blends are! A 2019/2021 In Color, we still have one more year to create with it! I stamped the "hello there with the lined box around it on white, then stamped the corner of blooms. I then used my paper snips to cut it all out in one piece. Easy-peasy! I added Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the blooms for a bit more sparkle. Noble Peacock Rhinestones are also retiring and are discounted! I rounded the upper right and lower left corners with the Detailed Trio Punch!

Stampin_up_i_say_hello_carolpaynestamps4

I stamped "my friend" on a 1/2" wide strip of white, then used my snips to cut one end into banner points. I then added a few more rhinestones too!

Stampin_up_i_say_hello_carolpaynestamps5

I colored the birthday candles with the same Stampin' Blends markers on top of the sentiment that is also found in I Say Hello.
