Stampin! Up! Zoo Babies for Lando!

Hey there! You've probably already heard. I've been shouting about it on Facebook for a few days, but in case you haven't, my newest grandson, Lando Ronan Hiller, has arrived! He weighed 8 lbs 9 oz. Mommy & Lando are doing great! I'm staying with her for a couple of weeks to mostly help out with Lando's "big brother", Oakley, who will be 18 months in a couple of days.

Now I can FINALLY finish his card:

I added his name using Simply Pressed Clay and the new Alphanumeric Mold in the Occasions Catalog. After the letters dried, I colored them first with my Lost Lagoon marker, then added the "stitching" with a White Chalk Marker. I attached the letters to the card front with Crystal Effects. The letters were not completely flat, so I put a couple of heavy books on top of them until the Crystal Effects was dry.

After stamping the Whisper White Medium Evelope with Zoo Babies images and Lost Lagoon ink, I used the Envelope Liner Thinlet Dies to cut the Sweet Dreams Designer Paper to embellish the inside flap of the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Basics!

Hey there. Still no baby. She has been having labor every evening, so it's getting closer. She's 41 weeks today. They won't let her go over 42, but we are hoping she goes on her own.

Today is a Liam day. We've had scrambled eggs, played with duplos, and watched a bit of Thomas. It's always fun to get to "play" with Liam!

Today's card is another from the January Online Class. We are using Butterfly Basics bundle with Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper (you can get the DSP FREE with a $50 order right now!)

The Circle Card Thinlet Die is a favorite for birthday cards. The Irresistibly Yours paper is white embossed images on white paper, then you add any color of ink you want with a sponge, spritzer, or brayer. I used a Stampin' Sponge to add Wild Wasabi ink, then removed excess ink from the embossed areas with a tissue.

As you open the center circle "flips" to reveal the Blackberry Blissed butterfly cut with a Butterfly Thinlets Die.

Open reveals the center birthday greeting from Hey You, and includes a bookmark stamped with the little bookworm from the Occasions Catalog Hostess set, Time to Celebrate. The top of the center panel and bookmark are punched with the new Ornate Tag Topper Punch!

Stampin’ Up! Time to Celebrate!

Hey there! The 2015 Occasions Catalog AND Sale-a-bration starts tomorrow! Today is a good time to share the notebook I gave my downline who attended the Occasions Catalog/SAB Kickoff with me in early December:

I added a cover to a mini legal-size notepad. Starting with a layer of Blackberry Bliss, I added a Pear Pizzazz layer stamped with the leaf from the Crazy For You stamp set from the Occasions Catalog using Pear Pizzazz ink. I received this set and the Time to Celebrate Hostess set at the 2014 Founder's Circle Retreat in September.

I stamped a Beautiful Bunch flower with Blackberry Bliss ink, then punched with the Fun Flower Punch. I layered it on a second Fun Flower punched from Blackberry Bliss cardstock with a Stampin' Dimensional.

The little worm is my favorite from the Time to Celebrate Hostess Set. This set is a limited-edition available ONLY to hostesses who have a party or place an order of at least $150. This set is ONLY available from January 6-June 2! Contact me to book your party, or go to my online store to place your order of at least $150 staring January 6th (tomorrow!)

Hey there! I have a really cute and unique card for you today, one of the swaps I received in November created by Brenda Hukriede:

Brenda combined Soft Sky with Lost Lagoon and Whisper White, stamping images from the Fabulous Four set with Lost Lagoon ink. This card moves! Pull down on the Lost Lagoon section at the bottom and you reveal:

Brenda used the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Folder on the cover of her card, then cut out stars with both the Stars framelits and the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I'm definitely going on a hunt for the directions or will reverse-engineer this card so I can show you how to make it!

Stampin’ Up! A Geometrical Mickey Card for Jaxon!

Hey there! Just ONE day left of 2014! This year has just FLOWN by hasn't it?

For my last post of 2014 I want to share the second Mickey Mouse card I created for Jaxon's birthday. This one was for Uncle Logan and Uncle Ben to put money in:

I used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut the card base, then added punched 2" Circles for the mouse ears. The center is simply stamped with a sentiment from the Geometrical set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the circle framelit to cut the cardstock just off the fold to make the card easily open.

Inside I combined a sentiment from the Project Life Remember This Photopolymer set with words from the new 2015 Occasions Catalog set, Crazy About You.

It was easy to make my card the right size to fit inside a Whisper White Medium Envelope:
