Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Preserved Candy Canning Jars!

Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Preserved Candy Canning Jars!

Hello again! Can I just say this month has been probably my busiest one ever? Workshops, classes, clubs, stamp camps, and a trip to St. George, Utah, for the Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle Retreat! I need to pause right here for just a minute to thank all of my stamping friends and downline, for helping me get there! Thank you, Thank you, Thank YOU!

Here's a super-cute little project we will be making at my workshops in October inspired by Dawn Olchefske and Kay Kaltoff:

Can you say "Perfectly Preserved Candy Canning Jars" three times fast? I LOVE this little project using the "Perfectly Preserved" stamp set and the "Cannery" Framelits for the Big Shot. All of these products can be found in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog right now!

That's it for today. If you would like to view the Holiday Catalog you can click on the icon right here on my blog or contact me to request your own personal copy to be mailed to you!

Until tomorrow, have a "Stampingrox! Day!"

Occasions Mini 2012 Sneek Peek from Founder’s Circle!

Occasions Mini 2012 Sneek Peek from Founder’s Circle!

Founder's Circle always provides us with the cutest Make & Takes! I love to get a chance to work on them during my free time. What Stampin' Up! Demonstrator wouldn't love it when someone ELSE is prepping the fun?!

This banner uses some cool "sneak peek" products from the soon-to-be-released Occasions 2012 Mini Catalog! If you have ordered from me in the past year, you should be receiving one of these in the mail near the end of December. If you don't, and it can happen, as they are shipped out Bulk Mail, then contact or see me at one of my future Stampin' Events and I will make sure you get one!

This banner uses the new "Paper Doily" Large Sizzlet Die! All I can say is, "it's simply gorgeous"! The teacup in the center of the Daffodil Delight one is from a new stamp set, "Tea Shoppe"! So sweet!

Here's another section of the banner, this time using another "Tea Shoppe" stamp, a super-big teacup, scalloped circles, and one of the doilies cut from one of the laser-cut pages from the "Flirtatious" Specialty Designer Paper pack!

Founder’s Circle Day 2 and How to Get a FREE Stamp Set!

Founder’s Circle Day 2 and How to Get a FREE Stamp Set!

Founder's Circle Day 2! This is the day they bussed everyone to the Stampin' Up! Stamp Manufacturing Plant in Kanab, Utah, Shelli's hometown! It takes awhile to get there, so we played Bingo on the bus to pass the time and to win prizes (which were Stampin' Up! accessories such as buttons, brads, ribbon, etc!) It's always fun to get free stampin' stuff!

This was the sign that greeted us when we arrived at the plant! A bunch of the employees were outside to welcome us! We high-fived with them as we went in!

FC two 2

The Plant really doesn't look like a "PLANT", does it? But amazingly, ALL the stamps sold by Stampin' Up!, with the exception of the personalized stamps, for the entire world, which includes Australia, Canada, and Europe, are made here! The staff here is amazing, and the atmosphere is one of comraderie and cooperation, just like everywhere you go with Stampin' Up!

FC two 3

We aren't allowed to take any pictures on the plant floor, and I'd been there before two years ago, but I could tell they had streamlined things and have room for growth!

There is an apartment upstairs for the Corporate Team to stay in when they come to Kanab, which is decorated in true "Shelli Style"!

FC two 6

While browsing the displays in the main lobby area, I was so excited to find the Choo-Choo Overall card one of my downline, Jan McGowen, had given to Shelli at convention 2009! I just had to take a picture of it for her! I have already emailed her a copy! What an honor for Jan!

FC two 7

©Stampin'Up!™ 1999-2010

Before we left the plant it was time for pictures with the Stampin' Up! sign! Here I am with my good friend, Meg! A little attitude never hurts to put a big smile on a face, doesn't it?

FC two 9

After we toured the plant it was time for a yummy lunch at the  Park in Kanab that Stampin' Up! helped build! In true Stampin' Up! style, they had our lunches ready for us in these adorable purse/lunchbags! Dessert included Creme' Brulee, which one of the waiters blowtorched for us! yum!

FC two 10

The park includes a play area which has as it's play surface, what else could it be, but ground up stamp rubber! Easy & springy on bare feet, and not too bad to lay down in either!

FC two 11

Of course, you know those parents just HAVE to be warned to leave the rubber alone! ha!

FC two 12

I had the honor to photograph the new Advisory Board members on the slide! Just imagine the chaos of trying to take this picture 7 times with 7 different cameras while the children kept piling up behind them! It was so much fun! I hope everyone else's pics turned out at least as good as this one! The Advisory board is from bottom up: Karen Duke, Georgia Guigere, Sharon Armstrong, Janet Wakeland, Jodi Reinert, and Meg Wheeler! (there are two Advisory members missing from this pic)

FC two 13

Before I go today I just wanted to show you some samples from a Brand-New 2011 Occasions Mini Catalog stamp set that you & I can get for FREE  in addition to the Greenhouse  Garden Tote when YOU sign up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator with me as your upline! You can't get this stamp set from just any demonstrator, you can only get it when you sign up with one of the Founder's Circle Regional Attendees! This set is called, appropriately, "EAT CHOCOLATE!" and is just so adorable I can't wait to get my hands on it, can you?

Founder’s Circle! The BEST treat ever! Day One!

Founder’s Circle! The BEST treat ever! Day One!

Founder's Circle 2010! What a fabulous experience! I am SO grateful to all my loyal stampers and downline who helped me get there! Thank you, a  thousand times THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Since I now have caught up on my laundry (though not my house, just imagine one husband and two (almost) grown sons on their own most of a week!) Thought I would start showing you  a bit of what I experienced last week!

To start off, here's our first glimpse of the hotel where all the Founder's Circle achiever's were to stay. Stampin' Up! took over the ENTIRE hotel and each of us (all approximately 135 of the top U.S. & Canadian Demos) had our OWN ROOM ALL TO OURSELVES! (And yes, I DID jump on the bed! shhh, don't tell!!!! )

FC 3

This was the first greeting they had for us when our bus came to a stop. My flight came into Las Vegas, then they bussed us two hours through gorgeous desert & canyon country to St. George, Utah! On the left is Kellie Sue, one of the tirelessly devoted Stampin' Up! employees who helped wait on us hand and foot all week!

FC 1

The whole hotel was decorated just for us!

FC 2

The cool record plaque on MY DOOR! (they had a 50's theme this year!)

FC 4

We immediately went back downstairs to the hospitality room where they had hand-made chocolates and candy-covered apples ready for us, as well as a welcoming get-to-know-you game they had divided us into teams for. Here's my team, we were "The Baubles"!

FC 6
We are front row l to r: Kari Metzger, Janet Wakeland, Connie Lacroix, and Ruth Bingle.

Back row l to r: Connie Heisey, April Roycroft, me, and Vicki Edwards.

Our Welcome Dinner table (for The Baubles): (so sorry this picture was left out of the original post!)

The Entree:

FC 8

The first "Pillow Gift" (I can't show you the contents because this box contained a brand-new stamp set AND punch from the ;2011 Occasions Mini Catalog!) BUT  I will show you some samples made with this set & punch in a couple of days!

FC 9

Now of course, I know you really want to see something stamped, so here's a cute little gift-cardholder made by my good friend, Meg Wheeler! If you attend one of my workshops or classes in the next couple of months you may just get to make one of these!

The Most Pitiful Smile I’ve Ever Smiled!

The Most Pitiful Smile I’ve Ever Smiled!

Founder's 2010

©Stampin'Up!™1990-2010

Isn't this one of the most pitiful smiles you have ever seen? Yes, it really IS a smile, a smile of shock & joy, a smile of a dream-come-true! I just returned from the 2010 Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah where I was honored to receive the news that I had achieved the Founder's Circle trip! I earned this trip in 2008, but didn't earn it last year, so I thought it was just a fluke I earned it once, never dreaming I would earn it again. Imagine my complete shock & joy when during awards-booth check in on the first day of convention I was presented with this gorgeous Founder's Circle bag! Founder's Circle is awarded to the top 100 Demonstrators of the Year for the 2009-2010 Stampin' Up! year (which ended on June 30th), along with the U.S. & Canadian Rising Stars. A total of 130 Stampin' Up! demonstrators will be traveling to St. George, Utah in September for three days of rest, relaxation, and stamping fun! I still have to pinch myself to believe it! I have to say THANK YOU to you, my loyal and wonderful stamping friends, without you this would never, ever be possible!

Lots to do to get ready for Founder's Circle: swaps to prepare as there is a fun "Sock Hop Swap & Share" one evening, packing for relaxing, shopping, and visiting the Stampin' Up! Stamp Manufacturing Plant in Kanab, Utah! This trip is all-expenses-paid by Stampin' Up! (except for the shopping! lol!) and I can hardly wait for September 15th!

I arrived home late Sunday evening, and spent most of yesterday unpacking and sorting my swaps and Memento Mall purchases. (Keep an eye out for an adorable new grocery shopper bag I will be gifting to future hostesses!)

But it is also back-to-business with workshops this week and my "Christmas In July" Stamp-a-Stack this weekend! Here are three of the projects we will be making at this event:

Classes are set for Friday, July 30th, 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 31st, 10 a.m. & 2 p.m. Class size is limited to 8 per session, so let me know ASAP if you can come! A phone call or email will be fine!

Gotta run and cut some paper!

Have a STAMPINGROX! DAY!
