Stampin’ Up! Eastern Beauty for Christmas!

Hey there! I created another Eastern Beauty Circle Fancy Fold card; this time for Christmas! There are two dies in the Eastern Medallions Thinets that work together perfectly to create a poinsettia! This is one of the few cards I've ever made without a greeting visible at first glance. I normally like my cards to "speak" to you from the front, but this poinsettia is just so gorgeous, it speaks on its' own!

I used the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers again, adding a Gold Faceted Gem to the poinsettia center.

To add more gold shine, I added an identical layer behind the Cherry Cobbler poinsettia cut from a Gold Foil Sheet!

I used Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers with Cherry Cobbler stamping to complete the almost "Scandinavian Christmas" look! Each package of Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers has TWO sheets of TWO different designs for a total of 4 sheets and LOTS of stickers.

There's no end to the combinations you can make with all of the images in the Eastern Beauty set!

Stampin’ Up! Eastern Beauty Circle Flap Card!

Hey there! Today I have a cool new fold I discovered by my Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop friend, BJ Peters! Click on BJ's name to watch the video she made to get the dimensions and tips to make this card!

I changed the color for my card from Tranquil Tide to Fresh Fig, but continued with the gold accents from the Gold Foil Sheets and Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers. After adding the large medallion sticker to the 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" square of Very Vanilla, I stamped in each outside "v" with Fresh Fig.

The circle on the flap is lots of gorgeous layers, starting with the gold heat-embossed Eastern Beauty greeting and ending with another Eastern Gold Vinyl Sticker on a Fresh Fig circle cut with a Layering Circles Framelit.

When the flap is lifted, it reveals another Eastern Beauty sentiment, stamped with Fresh Fig ink!

I love how this card opens in a tri-fold way to reveal more Eastern Palace images and Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers!

Stampin’ Up! Eastern Beauty Sunflowers!

Hey there. Yesterday was one of those rare days when I had no blog post. I started today's the night before last, but our internet went out before I finished, so I went on to bed. Yesterday morning I didn't have time to finish it before we had to leave to attend the funeral of one of my husband's dearest friends. He & Tim had been friends since childhood, and we had spent many happy times with Tim and his wife, Kathy, over the years, especially when our oldest three children were little. Tim passed away unexpectedly last Saturday. His funeral today was truly a celebration of his life, which was well-spent serving our Lord. Although we are shocked and saddened, and will miss him terribly, we know he is in heaven and we will see him again.

One of the things I thought of when I started playing with the Eastern Beauty stamps and Eastern Medallions Thinlets was sunflowers. I used Fresh Fig, Very Vanilla, Tranquil Tide, and Crushed Curry for my color palette. The greeting and the open circles center are both from Pieces & Patterns and stamped with Fresh Fig.

I stamped the Very Vanilla and Tranquil Tide background layers with an Eastern Beauty image and Tranquil Tide, I love all of the different pieces you can cut with the 14 dies in the Eastern Medallions Thinlets. I topped off the smallest sunflower with a new Gold Faceted Gem.

Inside I stamped more with Tranquil Tide and used another phrase from Pieces & Patterns. I even created a smaller sunflower with more of the Eastern Beauty Thinlets.

Stampin’ Up! Eastern Beauty!

Hey there stamping friends! My creation today is with the Eastern Palace Suite, which you will be able to pre-purchase from the NEW Annual Catalog beginning on May 1st!

This year the catalog has samples using components of different suites throughout the pages. I found some samples on page 129 of the new catalog that inspired this:

New 2017/19 In Color Powder Pink paired with Very Vanilla! After I cut out the Very Vanilla with an Eastern Medallions Thinlet die, I took it one step further by cutting out the medallion to mount separately. You can compare today's card to my Thailand Achiever's creation by clicking HERE.

All of the stamped images are included in the Eastern Beauty stamp set that coordinates with the Eastern Medallion Thinlets Dies. The Sparkle Textured Impressions Folder, a current one, also coordinates perfectly with the image I stamped and cut out for the medallion center!

Berry Burst, another up-coming new In Color, was the perfect "pop" to stamp the greeting. Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim was the finishing touch!

Inside I used more Eastern Beauty images. I LOVE the "let's be friends forever" phrase! I will be returning to the Eastern Beauty set to use this phrase over and over this year!

Stampin’ Up! Thailand Achiever’s April Blog Hop Celebrating OnStage!

We get to see, feel and play with brand new products coming in the new Annual Catalog. Some of us are showing highlights from Onstage, and some are featuring the Eastern Palace Product Suite, available to order early starting May 1st. For my creation I went straight to the new Annual Catalog pages featuring the Eastern Palace Suite. This suite features three new In Colors: Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide, and Lemon Lime Twist. I used Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide, Very Vanilla, Gold, and a bit of another new In Color, Berry Burst, adding my own changes and touches.

Everything is from the Eastern Palace Suite: Fresh Fig, Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper, Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst, Eastern Beauty photopolymer set, Eastern Medallions Thinlets.

For the first time, we have Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers, used along the sides!

To achieve the ombre look on the greeting, I inked the stamp first with Berry Burst, stamped-off once, inked the bottom portion with Fresh Fig, then stamped in the center of Eastern Medallions-cut front. Metallics Enamel Dots add bling!

I attached a Tranquil Tide Mini Tassel with Gold 1/8" Ribbon. I secured the knot with a glue dot.

Only Stylized Birthday, also ombre-stamped, doesn't come from the Eastern Palace Suite!
