Stampin’ Up! Timeless Elegance!

Hey there and Happy Monday! I just love Mondays! I know a lot of people hate Mondays, but I guess when you own your own business Monday can have a different feel. For me Monday's are my best day to get a lot accomplished and create! yay!

Today's card is another from my Birthday Card Buffet last week. I used the new Timeless Elegance Designer Paper with the You've Got This stamp set:

We added the lacy look over the circle opening with the Striped Scallop Thinlet Die, and cut the "cheers" with one of the new Greetings Thinlets.

"Sending Good Thoughts your way" is from Perfect Pennants and the "happy birthday" is from Something to Say.

I particularly designed this card to be adaptable for many different occasions. In addition to birthday it could be used as a sympathy, get well, thinking of you, encouragement, or even a wedding or anniversary.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms Hey You!

Hey there! I'm at home today, and my "to do" list is a mile long! eeeek!

Today I am going to begin showing you the cards from the "Painted Blooms" class up close, starting with this one using Hey You and Blooming With Kindness:

As you can see, these cards are simple but elegant.

All you have to do is order the Painted Blooms Designer Paper, which is only available through June 2nd (or while supplies last, since we are getting close to the end of the catalog), then get busy with cardstock, inks, and stamps you already have!

Stampin’ Up! Big on You Love You!

Hey there! Super fast post this morning! I'm finishing my prep for my presentation tomorrow, and still have lots to do. No worries, I do my best work under pressure! I'll let you know how it goes after tomorrow.

Today's card is super quick and easy. I decided to give this final image from the Big on You set a "chalkboard" look:

I made the Basic Black and Whisper White layers a little bit smaller than I normally do, which allowed more Real Red to frame the greeting and actually gave it more "punch"!

After rubbing the Basic Black cardstock with my Embossing Buddy, I heat embossed the image with white embossing powder. I kept my embellishments frugal by only adding one tiny heart from the Hearts Border Punch with a glue dot.

My last touch was to re-rub the Basic Black layer with my embossing buddy again, but this time I didn't rub or blow off the residue. This added to the recently-erased chalkboard look.

Inside I continued my theme with a sentiment from Yippee Skippee! (which is on the retiring list) and "birthday" from the Celebrate Today set.

Stampin’ Up! Big on You Love You!

Hey there! Before we start, I just want to share one picture from the baby dedication yesterday. Here's Darcy with her Mommy & Daddy, big brother Liam, her Mamie and PaPa Jenkins and Mark & I (also called Mamie and PaPa by Liam !)

One of our nephews, Dillon, had to dance around like a crazy person behind the camera to get Liam to look! Darcy took it all in her usual style, calm and relaxed. This little girl can sleep through almost anything!
