Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy Country Home!

Hey there! Today I have a beautiful card to share with you created with Night of Navy card stock, Misty Moonlight ink, and In Good Taste Designer Series paper. I wanted to use Country Home with this pretty Night of Navy tile-looking print, so came up with this:

After embossing a layer of Misty Moonlight with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder I lightly added White Craft ink with a Sponge Brayer. I love how this technique gives the bricks so much more texture! (See my printable directions at the bottom of this post for full details to make this card)

I used the Banners Pick a Punch to create the greeting strip.

Inside I used one of my favorite sentiments from Here's a Card.

I covered the envelope flap with the same print from the In Good Taste Designer Paper pack to coordinate!

Stampin’ Up! Gilded Country Home!

Hey there! While I worked on my Autumn Days card for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop, I pulled out my fall sets and was reminded how much I love Country Home, now in the Annual Catalog, and Gather Together, a returning favorite in this year's holiday catalog! I decided to combine them with Gilded Autumn Specialty paper and one of the new Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders to create this card that I am loving soooo much!

I embossed the Cinnamon Cider layer with one of the Wrapped in Texture folders, then brayered it with Cajun Craze ink. I discovered the Cinnamon Cider card stock color mimics the copper foil in the Gilded Autumn Specialty paper when they are put together.

I colored the bouquet with Stampin' Blends:

And shadowed the milk can with a Light Gray Granite Stampin' Blends.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Days!

Hey there and welcome to the September edition of the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop, "Autumn Days"!

I decided to use Beautiful Autumn and Gilded Autumn Specialty again with a favorite new layout!

I stamped-off with Cajun Craze ink a Country Home bouquet to peek from behind the Early Espresso-stamped Beautiful Autumn greeting:

I punched the acorn and leaves directly from a Gilded Autumn Specialty print and added a copper ribbon bow from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo pack.

This sentiment from Country Home dovetails perfectly with the Beautiful Autumn sentiment on the front.

Stampin’ Up! Technique Tuesday with Delightful Day!

Hey there! I'm starting a new series on my blog!

Today's technique is "Rubber Band Stamping"!

Rubber Band Stamping is easy! All you need is a clear block, rubber bands, and ink!

First I wrapped three bands around Clear Block C, keeping them flat against the block.

I wrapped three more cross-wise.

I stamped with Seaside Spray randomly over the white, then turned the block over and stamped with Night of Navy.

I finished by wrapping Clear Block A with smaller bands, then stamping with Mint Macaron.

I cut the layer into three 1 1/4" pieces, layered onto Crumb Cake, then embossed with the Corrugated folder.

BONUS: this is another cool and easy technique called INLAID EMBOSSSING.

I finished the card with a tag punched with the new Delightful Tag Topper Punch!

Inside I used a sentiment from Country Home.

Stampin’ Up! Technique Tuesday with Delightful Day!

Hey there! I'm starting a new series on my blog!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day December 16th!

Hey there! How are you today on the next-to-last Sunday before Christmas? I'm finding that my "tidsoptomist" side has kicked in; I'm under the mistaken belief that I have more time to get ready for Christmas than I actually do. Ahhh!

Today I'm sharing more Country Home samples from Vacation Stamping School and a couple of cute Christmas ones!

You really don't want to miss out on a pack of gorgeous Country Lane Designer Series paper. Country Home will still be orderable, but the paper will sell out soon! This card includes bits of cotton pulled from the ends of q-tips to give those cotton boll sprigs a realistic look!

Stampin’ Up! Country Home is Carrying Over!

Hey there! The Country Home stamp set is carrying over; you can still order it after the Holiday Catalog ends on January 2nd!

These cards were displayed at Vacation Stamping School back in August, so I don't have any creator's names, but they are lovely!

First, this card is beautifully watercolored with Stampin' Blends and has retiring Country Lane Designer Paper for the background.

This card also used retiring Country Lane Designer paper to create the "sunburst" effect!

It's possible all three of these cards were created by the same person since the "sunburst" technique was used on this one too. You really need to consider ordering a pack of this paper before it is gone forever. All retiring Holiday Catalog items are while-supplies-last.

This card features the "no line watercoloring" technique on the pitcher with the bouquet stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Watercolor Paper. I love the soft color contrast of the Mint Macaron card base and the Grapefruit Grove pitcher, and the Copper Foil strip embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder gives this card even more of a vintage look.

The card was displayed with a background from the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper and a strip of retiring Galvanized Metallic Paper embossed with a Nature's Roots Framelit and the Big Shot Embossing Mats. The rolled flowers were also created from Nature's Poem paper and the leaves are stamped with Rooted in Nature images and cut out with Nature's Roots Framelits. The designer paper, stamps, and Leaves Trinkets used are all from the Annual Catalog.

The last Country Home Sample features a Copper Foil background embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions folder, then sponged with StazOn Jet Black ink. The milk can is heat-embossed with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! Busy weekend, class all day on Saturday with lots of fun, laughter, and stamping, then most of the family was here for lunch on Sunday. Today I'm a little under the weather with a fresh cold. Seems like I usually get a cold this time of year when the weather changes and we start up the wood stove.

Today I want to share some cute swaps I received recently.

First, Amy Combs created this lovely and soothing card with the Country Home stamp set. She expertly hand-cut the milk can and the flowers before layering on to a pleasing combination of Country Lane and Neutrals Designer Series Paper. She used Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso with Whisper White as her neutral.

Next, Rhonda Bassler created a sparkly fall card with the Falling For Leaves Bundle. After stamping the leaf on a window sheet with StazOn Black ink, she cut it out with a Detailed Leaves Thinlet. After color the design with Stampin' Blends Markers, she layered it over a matching leaf cut from Gold Glimmer Paper. A simple technique but LOTS OF WOW!

Kathy Beck used the Spotlighting Technique with the tried-and-true Sheltering Tree.

Finally, Deb McCahan created a masterpiece with the Waterfront stamp set. The banner that looks sort of like cork was created with the Faux Suede technique.
