Stampin’ Up! Folded Chevron!

Stampin’ Up! Folded Chevron!

Hey there! We are heading home from Branson today. We've had a lovely time, but I'm ready to see our family!

Today's card is for September's Punch & Technique class. This is my version of the Folded Chevron technique I've seen several of:

Stampin_up_color_me_autumn_chevrons_1

This is an excellent technique to use up those little scraps of designer paper we all have! I chose to use a stamp from the Merry Everything set, punched with the new Note Tag Punch. I pulled Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, and Crushed Curry from the  Color Me Autumn Designer Paper I used for the folded Chevrons.

Stampin_up_gifts_of_kindness
Inside I used stamps from the Gifts of Kindness set, colored with the same Stampin' Write markers that I used on the outside image.

Like this one? A tutorial and card using this technique will be included in one of the September Fall tutorials I will be revealing on September 15th during the September Stamper's Dozen Blog hop! This tutorial will be part of my new Bluesox Rewards program for online orders beginning that day, so be sure to come back and check it all out!

Although I am revealing the new Bluesox Rewards program on Sept. 15, your online orders with me now will be eligible for the program!

Here's the supply list for today's card. When you are ready to place your order you can go to my online store by clicking here:www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Holiday Home!

Stampin’ Up! Holiday Home!

Hey there! My week has really flown! With my sweetheart in Branson for a few days is delightful, but time is really flying!

Yesterday we took the Branson Belle Showboat Dinner Cruise!

Branson belle 1

The food was delicious, the show was fun, and during intermission we checked out the boat:

I did some creating before I left, getting ready for Punch & Technique and Christmas Card Classes. Today's card is made with Holiday Home. It didn't make the cut for class (see the email that's going out later today to see which cards DID make the cut!), but I still wanted to share:

Stampin_up_holiday_home_1 - Copy

I love the little houses in Holiday Home, and the Homemade Holiday framelits cut them out for you! I hand-cut the little pine trees with Paper Snips (one reason why this card didn't make the cut!)

I added stars to the Night of Navy card base with Silver Encore Metallic ink,  a sponge dauber, and the stars stencil from Stars & Hearts Decorative Masks.

The adorable "merry Christmas" is from the Good Greetings Hostess set. This set is  free when you host a $300 party (in home or catalog) between now and October 31st. With the exception of the Good Greetings "merry Christmas", all stamps used on this card are from Holiday Home.

Be sure you are subscribed to my newsletters to learn how I created the snow-covered hills on this card. My next newsletter is going out later today!

Here's the supply list to order in my online store: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch from Bloomin’ Beautiful!

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch from Bloomin’ Beautiful!

Hey there! Here's the final card from the Bloomin' Beautiful Class up-close:

Stampin_up_flower_patch_1 - Copy

Combining the Flower Patch Bundle (stamps & framelits) with the 2014/2016 In Colors makes a fabulous card!

Stampin_up_flower_patch_2 - Copy

This is pretty much just a KISS card (Keep It Simple Stamping), with the addtion of a few Rhinestones and a few ribbons/twine!

That's all for now. I'm actually on a little vacation with my hubby. September 10th we will be married 37 years, and we try to go somewhere every year before the fall harvest/stamping season really kicks in and we hardly see each other until November!

If you love this card, here's the supply list. When you are ready to order you will find all of these items, plus a lot more, in my online store: www.carolpaynestampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Bloom For You!

Stampin’ Up! Bloom For You!

Hey there! I found a couple of cards leftover from the Bloomin' Beautiful Class, so I'm showing you one today and one tomorrow:

Stampin_up_beautiful_bunch_1 - Copy

Blackberry Bliss was a common thread throughout 4 of the 5 cards in the class.

The Kraft layer on the front was hand-cut to create the "v" using Paper Snips, starting in the center and trimming out to the edge, then flipping over the first cut piece as a pattern to cut the other side.

Stampin_up_beautiful_bunch_2 - Copy

There are so many stamps and punches used, I think I'd better just post the supply list to make it easy to place your order in My Online Store:

That's all for now. I'll be back tomorrow with the last card from Bloomin' Beautiful, using the Flower Patch stamp set!
Until then, have a Stampingrox! day!
