Stampin’ Up! Blended Bloom in Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie!

Hey there! I'm back again with another Blended Bloom card with the Emboss Resist technique again. I used sponge daubers again just like I did with yesterday's card, but this time I used Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Tangerine Tango:

I added a bit of Early Espresso to the centers of both flowers to give them more definition. This card is a more direct CASE of one by Brenda Keenan, although instead of cutting out leaves I embossed Old Olive cardstock with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Folder and then sponged the raised areas with more Old Olive ink. I think this gives a foliage-background-look, don't you think?

The greeting is from the Bloom with Hope Hostess set, punched with the Modern Label punch.

Inside I stamped with more Bloom with Hope images, using the "Rock and Roll" technique to get both Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo ink on the blooms.

That's all for now! Here's the supply list for today. Click HERE for my Online Store:

  1. Gorgeous, Carol….both this one and the blue one….I need to pull out this stamp and the blendabilities and make some magic of my own….or even your technique! Love that you used the lines EF and sponged the green on it and that you cut out the flowers on the blue card and mounted them on the large polka dots EF!
