Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Easel!

Hey there! You knew I would eventually make an easel card with Abstract Impressions, didn't you! I love the easel-fold, and this bundle feels like it was created for it!

I chose Melon Mambo for my card base, stamped on the white layer with Melon Mambo ink, then sponged the flowers and leaves cut with a Springtime Impressions Thinlet. I used new Shaded Spruce, Powder Pink, Melon Mambo, and new Highland Heather.

I added black faceted gems for some sparkle.

Inside I cut the sentiments with Celebrate You Thinlet Dies, then sponged them with the same colors as the front. The cut sentiments are flexible, so I was able to curve them a bit as I was adhering with liquid glue "painted" with a small brush.

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions, CASEing Myself!

Hey there! I CASED myself when creating this card for Cindy's Stamp Camp today with Abstract Impressions. She was looking at my recent creations and chose THIS card, but requested it in a different color, so I used Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lime Twist. I love the original, but I sure am diggin' these colors too!

I really, really, really LOVE this sentiment! It's from Abstract Impressions too!

This card combines the Spotlighting Technique with a paper-saving tip: Cut the greeting mat directly from the stamped front layer!

After you add the Coastal Cabana oval mat behind the greeting and adhere with dimensionals, you'll never be able to tell where it came from!

Photography is so weird. This is the inside of the same card, but here you can really tell it's Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lime Twist. In the pic above the colors look like Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzazz!

Stampin’ Up! Accented Blooms and Stampin’ Blends!

Hey there! The new Accented Blooms set coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch. I already had my punch from the Occasions Catalog, so I had to order this set to go with it! For my card today I embossed a So Saffron layer with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, then sponged with Crumb Cake ink.

I stamped the blooms image with Crumb Cake ink, then colored with Stampin' Blends, which are now available to order again! The colors we previously offered are now back in stock. The new colors in the New Annual Catalog will be available in a few weeks.

I sponged a Pearlized Doily's back side with Crumb Cake and partially hid a pearl in the center.

I love this Abstract Impressions sentiment!

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Take 2!

Hey there! Monday I helped my 7 1/2 months-pregnant daughter clean construction dust at her new house. We completed the kitchen and one bedroom, so now she can start putting things away. Yes, I was sore!

Switching from cleaning to stamping mode, yesterday I made a few cards! I used the Abstract Impressions Bundle and Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper (both will be available to order on June 1st!) to create this fun fold card:

The Garden Impressions 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper stack is a riot of 11 different colors: Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Powder Pink, Shaded Spruce, Soft Seafoam, So Saffon, and Whisper White!

I used the butterfly die from the Springtime Impressions Thinlets (bundled with the Abstract Impressions stamps to save 10%) to cut two butterflies: one from Melon Mambo and one from Vellum. After adhering together and to the card with glue dots I added a Lovely Lipstick Tinted Faceted Button with a glue dot too. The Tinted Faceted Buttons are an awesome embellishment you will be able to order on June 1st!

I save just about every scrap of card stock, which comes in handy when I need a narrow strip to stamp my sentiment! I just love this phrase!

I finished off the inside with another Abstract Impressions image in Melon Mambo. I simply stamped off the background Melon Mambo to get a lighter shade from the same ink pad!
