Hey there! I know thinking about Valentines seems weird, but it's never too early to get ready for the next holiday!
I created today's card to swap at Dallas OnStage last weekend. I wanted to swap something that would have a little more "display life", past the upcoming holidays.
I used Annual Catalog Watercolor Words to create this:
After I stamped the heart with Rose Red ink on Whisper White, I embossed with the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Folder.
I created two versions because of a boo-boo while prepping assembly-line style!
My first version had the corner of the Rose Red layer un-punched by the Curvy Corner Trio Punch, which I had used to punch the corner of the Whisper White layer stamped with "love" from Watercolor Words and Archival Basic Black.
While I was assembly-line stamping, embossing, and punching the pieces for 25 swaps, I accidentally punched the Rose Red layer as well as the Whisper White, so I layered them, off-setting them slightly so the Rose Red gives a pretty shadow under the white. Which way do you like best? Drop me a comment and tell me what you think!
