Hey there! Today's Sweet Citrus cards were created by my sweet friend and team member, Joanne Cantrell. Joanne also created three levels of cards for three levels of stampers: beginner, casual, and avid.
The Beginner stamper card is simple, beginning with a Very Vanilla Thick card base.
We stamped the orange slices with Calypso Coral and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz, then cut them with the coordinating Sweet Citrus dies, which are included with the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. We added the leaves with Stampin' Seal so they could lay flat, then added the slices with dimensionals so they would pop up a bit.

The Casual Stamper (someone who stamps occasionally and mostly when they attend classes, workshops, or camps) card has raised embossing with the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder, as well as Burlap ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack found in the new Mini Catalog.
This "zesty" birthday greeting is also from Sweet Citrus.
An Avid Stamper is someone (like me!) who loves to stamp, thinks about stamping, dreams about stamping, and has to own every stamp and accessory. Many Avid Stampers do purchase the Stampin' Up! Starter Kit (there are three awesome specials going on right now during Sale-a-bration. See the info I will add farther down in this post)
This card definitely fits the Avid Stamper bill! It has lots of stamping, embossing, die cutting, and sparkly embellishments!
In addition to embossing the 4" x 5 1/4" Calypso Coral layer, the stamped citrus slices were inserted into the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder WITH the die to cut them all out. That's what "hybrid" means for this embossing folder. You can cut and emboss the images with one pass through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine! It's hard to photograph, but we also added Clear Wink of Stella to the slices for some shimmer.
We stamped the flowers with Calypso Coral ink, cut them out with the coordinating die, then added them to the card with dimensionals. We added Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of each.
