Hey there! An absolutely gorgeous suite in the Occasions Catalog is called "Falling In Love". It's not Valentine; think engagements, weddings, and anniversaries, feminine, fresh, and spring-y!
I made this card at the November Stampin' Up! OnStage Local in Kansas City, featuring a Falling In Love Designer Paper layer over a Softy Sky base. We used So Detailed Thinlets to cut the front band.
The intricate detailing was easily cut using the Precision Base Plate. A Falling In Love Embellishment and Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon are gorgeous additions.
For my card I used Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla, embossing the vanilla with the Lovely Lace folder.
I cut the band from Blushing Bride cardstock using the Precision Base Plate, which makes tiny pieces come out easily. The stamped flower is from So In Love. I partially cut it with the die, then finished with my snips. LOVE these embellishments!
The greeting is simply stamped on a rectangle of Very Vanilla and tucked underneath.
This project was a sample created for a friend's wedding invitation. We are going in another direction, which is why I can show you this now. I used a "postcard" layout to reduce weight and thickness. The back side is simply stamped in the corners to leave room to print the invitation.
