Hey there! Merry Christmas Eve! Only one more sleep til' Christmas! My house is full of family today! Everyone came in late Tuesday evening, some just in time to go to bed, so we are all here and ready to celebrate!
A few days ago while I was prepping for my Stampin' In the New Year Birthday Stamp-a-Stack I created this card with the Perfect Pennants stamp set from the Occasions Catalog:
I'm really diggin' this color combo of Real Red, Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, and Baked Brown Sugar in the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack! I used the new Ampersand Textured Impressions Folder to emboss a piece of Pool Party (which blends perfectly with Coastal Cabana). I sponged the raised image lightly with Pool Party ink to help the image stand out a bit more.
The "me & you" image is from the Perfect Pennants stamp set, stamped in Real Red on a Whisper White scrap then cut out with one of the 6 Banners Framelits Dies. I tied a bow with Real Red 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain, then added it with a Glue Dot. To finish off the bow I added a Pool Party button from the Subtles Designer Button pack, again with a Glue Dot, then added a simple knot of Linen Thread with another Glue Dot. Don't know what I would do without Glue Dots!
I've had a pack of Hardward Clips Essentials since the Annual Catalog started on June 1st but had never used them until I realized they contained an ampersand clilp that matched the Ampersand folder perfectly!
This card would make a good anniversary or birthday card, but I chose to use a phrase from Love You to the Moon, another Occasions Catalog set, stamped in Real Red, to make it Valentine-y!
The "xoxo" stamp is also from Love You to the Moon, isn't it cute?
Well, that's all for now. Until tomorrow (Christmas!), have a Stampingrox! day!
