Stampin’ Up! His Light Graphic Background for Christmas Eve!

Hey there! It's Christmas Eve!  After  I finish this post I will be in constant motion until bedtime, which will be late since it is Christmas Eve! I will be  wrapping, cooking, and preparing beds for my kids to come sleep here tonight, but I wanted to share this one last Christmas card with you that I just had to create with my "graphic background" technique.

I used the large "Rejoice" from the His Light stamp set in the Holiday Catalog with gold embossing powder to create this card that really speaks the reason for the season for me:

The His Light stamp set is retiring from the Holiday Catalog, so be sure to order your set before January 2nd. Available only while-supplies-last!

To heat emboss an entire background like this one I rubbed the paper all over with my Embossing Buddy first, then stamped "rejoice" with Versamark repeatedly, then sprinkled with gold embossing powder and then blasted it with my Heat Tool. Heat embossing is magical to watch happen! I heat embossed the Holy Family with gold powder on Blackberry Bliss card stock, then cut with a Bethlehem Edgelit.

I used Gold Foil as my background layer on both the inside and outside.
