Hey there! I played around again with the Heartfelt Blooms set and different ribbons to adorn the same layout. Stampin' Up! has so may gorgeous ribbons in their catalog, it's hard to decide sometimes which one to use, so I made multiple cards and used several!
I was inspired by a card created by Jan Wakeland to stamp the Heartfelt Blooms with black ink on glossy card stock. I started with a Soft Suede card base for all of my cards today, followed by a layer of one of our pinks. I used Powder Pink for this one, adding a Clear Faceted Gem for the center. I used Powder Pink 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon from the Annual Catalog.
My next card contained all of the same elements, but I switched to Powder Pink 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon for the finishing touch.
For this card I used Sweet Sugarplum card stock behind the focal image and used Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon for the bow.
For my final card, I used Smoky Slate 1/2" Gingham Ribbon with the Soft Suede, Powder Pink, and Basic Black-stamped glossy card stock.
The patent-pending "distinktive" style bloom stamps so crisply on the glossy card stock, it looks like a photo!
You just need a little bit of care to not let your stamp slide on the slick surface of the glossy card stock!
Heartfelt Blooms contains thanks and thinking of you sentiments in lovely script and bold font.
