Hey there! Welcome to the Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop for December 2017! Our theme every month is our own choice this year, so I'm going to share an Occasions Catalog/Sale-a-brtion Sneak Peek with you that we will be making at my "Stampin' In the New Year" Stamp-a-Stack next Monday on New Year's Day!

I used the Party Pandas Sale-a-bration set with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create this:

I was inspired to create this card by  this dress I found on Pinterest:

To create the leafy background I inked the negative side (the side with the leaves not popped up) of the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder with black ink, inserted the layer of Emerald Envy card stock, and ran it through my big shot.

I stamped one of the three pandas in the Party Pandas set with black ink on Whisper White card stock and cut him out with Paper Snips.

After I added him to the center of the card I punched Whisper White flowers with the Tree Builder Punch and added them with glue dots. I hand-drew flower centers with a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker. The greeting is also from Party Pandas, stamped with Basic Black ink and punched with the Classic Label Punch.

Inside I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Wit set in the new Occasions Catalog that starts January 3rd. I stamped the confetti, also from Party Pandas, with Emerald Envy ink.

  1. Thanks, Cheryl! I was hunting on Pinterest for inspiration and when I put “party pandas” in the search box this dress popped up in the feed! It didn’t take long to figure out what I needed to use to create my card! I’m in love with it myself! (and kinda wish I had that dress too!)

  2. I LOVE your card and your inspiration piece! You did a great job, and I think I might use that at my next workshop party, myself! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
Congrats on being an Incentive Trip Achiever; have a wonderful time (I keep dreaming; lol)!
    Warmly, Donna

  3. I’m an SU demonstrator in OH, jumping thru this blog hop. Most the time I give a nod of appreciation at everyone’s creations – – but I stopped and looked and relooked and wondered. I LOVE that you found a dress that was your inspiration. FANTASTIC. I’m often inspired with color combinations in clothes – – Bravo, job well done!
