It’s amazing what a little added punching and stamping will do for a card! This card is one we did for a recent stamp camp. I CASED it almost exactly from a card on the Stamper’s Showcase (a gallery of card ideas exclusive for demos on the Stampin’ Up! website). It was a fun card to make and everyone enjoyed it.
A few days later I decided to stamp up some of the leftover supplies for some Sympathy and Thinking of You cards and added a little Ticket Corner punching and some extra flourish stamping:©Stampin’Up!™1999-2008
Isn’t the effect amazing? I didn’t even think the first card was plain, (after all it had Dazzling Diamonds glitter on it!), but after comparing the second one to the first I was just dazzled!
BTW – I just set up my new “Lighting Studio”! It’s a little tent of non-glare fabric with little lights on stands and a tripod I can attach to the bottom of my camera so hopefully I can take better pictures of my projects for the blog. I never dreamed of ever having one, but the other day I was going down the Clearance aisle in Wal-mart and there it was! I didn’t even know Wal-mart carried them and here they were on sale! It just was meant to be! (I actually avoid the clearance aisle as much as possible as I tend to impulse buy ALOT when I go down it, but darn Wal-mart, they MOVED it to another part of the store and I just moseyed on down and voila! the rest is history!) I like to take my pictures outside on my deck in the natural light, but sometimes it’s dark or rainy, or cold, and I have to fight the kittens to keep them from attacking the cards, so this should help!
