Stampin’ Up! Owl Ribbon Card and Our Family Easter Celebration!

Stampin’ Up! Owl Ribbon Card and Our Family Easter Celebration!

Yesterday was a fun day! Let me share with you a few snapshots of the day:
The waiters
Maddie Kate, Ava, and Cohen waiting for Jaxon to get a chance to find a few eggs before we let them go at it! (Liam was napping)
Jaxon 2
Jaxon was a bit confused, "what is this doing out here?"
Jaxon 3
"Oh, you want me to put it in here?"
The hunters
Then we let the rest of them loose! Ava and Cohen were in hot competiton for those eggs!

Cohen

Maddie
Maddie Kate

Cody & sweed & oakley
Sweed & Cody (baby Oakley will be here in July!)

Liam and Cohen managed to acquire pumpknots on their heads at the same time with the same toy! Not an easy thing to accomplish, at 5 years and 8 months! They were fine, just have red bumps!

I have one fun card to show you today. This cute little owl was a swap my downline, Angela, received at the Regional!

The creator, (have no idea who) used current and retired ribbons for the feathers! Cute idea to use up ribbon scraps!

That's all for now! Hope you have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Secret Garden Pop-up Gift Card Holder Take 2!

Stampin’ Up! Secret Garden Pop-up Gift Card Holder Take 2!

I must add a few details to my handout for the Secret Garden Pop-up Gift Card Holder from earlier today!

Here's how to punch and make the pop-up section. Open up the top flap, the 2 1/2" wide one. Insert the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch over the fold line, pushing the paper in to the bottom of the punch and lining up the scallops evenly on each side of the fold as shown below:

Pop up punch 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

When you fold the card on the fold lines, the 2 1/2" flap folds down and looks like this:

Pop up punch 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

Attach the embossed Secret Garden flower/1 3/4" circle/2 3/8" Scallop Circle layer to the part of the bottom flap of the card that shows through the punched opening. Use a generous amount of SNAIL adhesive or Sticky Strip on just the bottom third of the Scallop layer so opening and closing of the card will not detach the scallop.

There you have it! My ommission has been bothering me all day, and I have just now had time to get on here and correct it, so now I am relieved to be able to give you all the information you need to make this card with ease!

Now I am really having a Stampingrox! day!

Just a two days and a few hours left until Sale-a-bration is over! To place your order and choose your free items you can go shop my Online Store:

www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Any order of any amount will receive the three Happy Hello tutorials free and a thank-you card via snail-mail later this month!

Stampin’ Up! You Are My Sunshine!

Stampin’ Up! You Are My Sunshine!

Happy Wednesday! Whew! This week is starting to really fly! We had a mini-snowstorm here yesterday, but it's all gone now! I have an appointment with my eye surgeon this morning for a re-check on the right eye that was attended to last Friday. All seems to be going well, and I hope he agrees!

Today I have the third and final Punch project for this Saturday. It's a very ingenius use of the Petite Pennants Builder Punch – a Sun! The center of the sun is the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch which has been embossed with the Houndstooth Textured Impressions Folder and then sponged with Daffodil Delight ink.

You are my sunshine 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013 '

The clouds are the frosting from the Cupcake Builder Punch which have also been embossed with the Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Folder. The greeting is from Rain or Shine in the Occasion Catalog.

You are my sunshine 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I kept to Clean-and-Simple for the inside, stamping the single-stamp, Sunshine in Jet Black StazOn on the Daffodil Delight cardstock. I gave this layer a little more punch by matting it on a piece of Marina Mist.

Yesterday Liam came for a little visit, and surprised me by showing off his sitting-up skills!

Liam 2

He still prefers rolling to crawling, but he gets where he wants to go!

That's all for today. After I return from my appointment and errands, I will be working on the projects for CampJustWannaStamp, another monthly class that is happening at the same time as the Punch/Technique Class. There will be LOTS of fun cards to stamp, so RSVP to me ASAP!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Hello, My Friend!

Stampin’ Up! Hello, My Friend!

Good morning! Posting a little later than usual today, but I got in rather late from Lavon Gills' workshop in Fairfield, IL, last night. Had so much fun stamping and getting to know Lois, Joyce B.,Marty, Pat, Sandra,Joyce F.,Anita, Bonnie, & Cheryl!

Today's sample is another one we will be making this Saturday at my Punch/Technique Class here at my house. I CASED this from a sample on the Leadership display boards. I've been hoarding it and didn't show you the picture because I wanted to have you MAKE it! Isn't it so bright and cheery? Just what we need to pep us up on these gray, rainy (and sometimes snowy!) days!

Hello 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

These fun and easy flowers are made with all of the Scallop Circle Punches in the Stampin' Up! Catalogs, and then some! The leaves are from the Blossom Petals Builder Punch, and the centers are the Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

Hello 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

The sentiments are both from the My Friend stamp set, which also contains more images that NEED to be used soon!

Cardstock colors are Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, and Gumball Green.

All in all, this easy, versatile card just makes me HAPPY!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Of course, all of these products can be found and ordered from my Online Store:
