Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! Today is Sunday Swap Day! yay! It's also Thanksgiving Dinner at church, so I'm making Crockpot Hashbrown Casserole and Broccoli Casserole! yum!

First, Amy Combs created her swap with Among the Branches, Flurry of Wishes Bundle, and Softly Falling folder:

Next, Susie Wood also used Flurry of Wishes for her gift card holder:

Susie layered a snowstorm onto the Lost Lagoon card stock by stamping the same images with both White Craft ink and Lost Lagoon. The Winter Wonderland Embellishments coordinate perfectly with the Flurry of Wishes set and Snow Flurry Punch!

Carol Slack created a "door" with the Woodgrain folder, set into a background created with the Brick Wall folder. She hung a wreath created with the Peaceful Wreath set.

The wreath removes and becomes a gift tag!

Carol added shine to the wreath bow with Crystal Effects. The "to:", "from", and holly are found in the Oh What Fun set.

Finally, Katy Simecka created her coffee-cup gift card holder with the Snow Place/Snow Friends bundle:

The top of the "cup" pulls up to present the greeting or gift card:

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Pines for November Online Class!

Hey there! Today I have the 3rd and final card for the November Online Class! Just place a $35 order in my online store and you will receive it early in December!

I used Peaceful Pines to create this:

I used the Woodland Folder for the background, sponged lightly with white craft ink. If you haven't ordered the Woodland Folder yet, you NEED to order it NOW, because It is RETIRING! (insert sad face) I have added the Holiday Catalog Retiring List to the bottom of this post, so be sure to check it out!

Each of the trees was cut with one of the three different trees in the Perfect Pines Framelits, and embellished with either a framelit from the set (the pine fronds on the far left tree) or heat-embossed with stamps from Peaceful Pines and white embossing powder. I also heat-embossed the single tiny snowflake from this set up among the branches.

Inside I used another stamp from Peaceful Pines and a sentiment from the Six Saying Host set.

Stampin’ Up! Hearth & Home No Peeking!

Hey there! Today I have a cute little card for my Mystery Hostess Party on Friday. I used Hearth & Home Framelits with Festive Fireplace, Happy Scenes, and Oh What Fun:

The group requested a "peeking Santa" with the Hearth & Home Framelits, which WILL BE CARRIED OVER to the Spring Occasions catalog! yay!

I opted to not fussy-cut out the Santa. Instead he is punched with the 1" Square Punch and then layered over another piece of Home for Christmas Designer Paper that has a solid background that matches the background behind Santa!

The Curvy Corner Trio Punch, which is ALSO CARRYING OVER TO THE SPRING CATALOG, adds the perfect "pop" to the collage of sentiments from Oh What Fun!

Stampin’ Up! Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop November Edition Christmas with Embellished Ornaments!!

Hey there! It's the 15th, so it's time for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop again! yay!

If you are already on the hop, you've probably just come from Laura Miligan's blog, I'd Rather Bee Stampin'! It's such a privilege to be a part of this hop every month with such lovely lady stampers! To continue on the hop, be sure to click on the "next" icon and the bottom of this post!

November's theme is Christmas/Holidays, so I used the Christmas Greetings Thinlets, Little Letters Thinlets, and the Festive Flower Builder Punch with Red Foil Paper for my creation:

The secret to keeping all of my CHRISTMAS letters straight? I cut a strip of Whisper White 5 1/2" long by about 3/4" wide to adhere the letters with my Fine Tip Glue Pen, then adhered the entire strip to the card front!

After I punched Red Foil Paper leaves with the Festive Flower Builder Punch, I scored down the center of each petal with the Simply Scored and stylus so I could gently fold the leaves for dimension. An Iced Rhinestone finishes the center.

Inside I used a sentiment and holly from Embellished Ornaments.

My final touch? Adding Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to the holly berries!
