Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines for the Holiday Catalog Kick-Off!

Hey there! We arrived home late in the evening yesterday, an I immediately re-packed my bags and headed off to Liam & Darcy's. We had a wonderful trip!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Medley Tree Punch Wreath!

Hey there! Today's card was inspired by a sample on page 3o of the Holiday Catalog, right beside the Merry Medley stamp set! I modified to make it easier to create multiples by switching from the Pretty Pines Thinlets to the Tree Builder Punch to make the wreath.

I think it took 12 Pear Pizzazz punched trees to create the wreath. I shortened the trunks with my snips and adhered with glue dots.

The Cherry Cobbler bow was made with the Bow Builder Punch. The Cherry Cobbler flowers were also punched with the Tree Builder and added with glue dots. A rhinestone adorns the center of each flower.

"Sent with love" is a tiny sentiment found in Stitched With Cheer (pg 34). I cut it with a tiny tag framelit from the Perfect Pines Framelits. I tied it to the wreath with Cherry Cobbler twine from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack.

Merry Medley was stamped with Whisper White Craft ink on the Basic Black background layer.

Inside I stamped another Stitched With Cheer sentiment.

I used the Tree Builder punch to create a look of holly.

I finished off the inside corner with a Pear Pizzazz tree cut with two of the Perfect Pines Framelits.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Medley Tree Punch Wreath!

I think it took 12 Pear Pizzazz punched trees to create the wreath. I shortened the trunks with my snips and adhered with glue dots.

The Cherry Cobbler bow was made with the Bow Builder Punch. The Cherry Cobbler flowers were also punched with the Tree Builder and added with glue dots. A rhinestone adorns the center of each flower.

Merry Medley was stamped with Whisper White Craft ink on the Basic Black background layer.

Inside I stamped another Stitched With Cheer sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Medley Lovely As A Tree!

Hey there! Stampin' Up! really hit it out of the ballpark with the Holiday Catalog!

A must have for me was the Merry Medley background. So many words on one stamp is not only a great value, but I looove the graphic look!

I chose to use Lovely As a Tree as my focal image:

I stamped the tree on the Crumb Cake layer with Always Artichoke ink, then stamped it again on scrap paper and cut it out to create a mask. I covered the stamped tree with the cut out mask before stamping over it with Merry Medley and White Craft ink.

For the greeting banner I stamped "Christmas Blessings" from Christmas Pines with Cherry Cobbler ink on a strip of Very Vanilla, then cut it out with the banner die in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets. The teeny-tiny holly is also from Christmas Pines. I hand-cut it out and mounted it with a snippet of a Stampin' Dimensional.

The inside greeting is also from Christmas Pines. I originally bought this set because it coordinated in a bundle with the Pretty Pines thinlets, but I think I will be using it a lot more for the sentiments!

Today's project features Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack found on page 13 of the Holiday Catalog and Tin of Tags stamp set found on page 33! The handles are 3/8" Real Red Stitched Satin Ribbon and the tag is attached with Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine.

This adorable little bag is the perfect size for a gift card, candy, a small candle, or even jewelry! Measuring 3" across the front, 4 1/4" tall, and 1 1/2" wide, this is a versatile container for gifts, favors, surprises, even table setting place-cards!

I used 2" by 4" Very Vanilla, punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch to create the tag. The snowflake is stamped-off Soft Suede, then I added "This is for you" with Real Red. Soft Suede sponging and a single gold Metallics Sequin are the finishing touches.

"FROM" is also in Tin of Tags.
