Hey there! With 22 birthdays to make cards for every year, I have to admit that sometimes I don't get a special one made and so have to go into my "stash" to give a card I've made in a past class. However, my daughter, Jessica, turned 40 yesterday so there was NO WAY I wasn't going to make her a special one!
I turned to the Broadway Bound Suite found on pages 68 & 69 of the Annual Catalog to create this fun card for my girl:
I used the Balloon Bouquet Punch with Lovely Lipstick, Silver Foil, and Sparkle Glimmer to create the balloons. I used Solid Basic Black Baker's Twine for the strings.
I wanted to cut an impressive "Wish" with the Broadway Lights Thinlets, so I used Basic Black Foil, adhering with liquid glue.
The card base is a standard 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Each fold of the card builds on the one before!
I accented the final sentiment, stamped directly on the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper, with adhesive-backed Candle Embellishments. There are both silver and gold in the 24-piece pack.
I think she enjoyed her card, as well as the little something that fell out when she opened it all the way! lol!
