Stampin’ Up! Grand Vacation Achiever’s Blog Hop Seeing 3-D!

Hey there! It's time for the Grand Vacation Achiever's Blog Hop! This month our theme is Seeing 3D. We're sure you'll find incredible inspiration from the projects you are about to see!

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Carol Payne Stamps, or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog.

For the "3-D" theme I created an easel calendar with a masculine theme. I used The "Going Global" product suite, perfect to create an easel post-it note calendar for a guy's desk:

This calendar folds  flat to fit into a custom envelope or box created with the Envelope Punch Board.

Stampin_up_going_global_2 - Copy

I used Basic Black and Delightful Dijon, two colors from the Going Places Designer Series Paper. My husband is a self-taught astronomer, so I think he would love this constellation design!

The black map behind the calendar was embossed with the World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I sponged lightly with Whisper White Craft ink to bring out the design.

"I thank my lucky stars for you" was heat-embossed with gold powder and punched with a 1" Circle Punch. I used the 2" Circle Punch for the globe and the Washi Label Punch for the sentiment.

  1. Terrific idea Carol. I struggle with masculine projects but you’ve done a terrific job with this one! Thanks so much for sharing! Have a terrific evening and God Bless, ~Cynthia <><

  2. Great way to showcase the new product, Carol and a very clever project! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Fabulous project Carol. I love that set and also ordered it on the pre pre order we could do. The new take on the easel card is inspirational. Thank you

  4. I love this! I went to the website for the calendars and it looks like you used the small sized one – 1 3/4″ x 1 1/2″. Is that the right one? I’d love to make these for my stamp club members and my coworkers. Thanks!
