Hey there! I realized today that I hadn't shared with you the favor I handed out to everyone at Chicks & Chocolate a couple of weeks ago, homemade chocolate chip cookies in cute Hey Chick packaging!
My grand-daughter, Maddie Kate, who loves to bake, made the chocolate chip cookies. I put each one in a Gusseted Cellophane Bag, folded down the top, then clipped them closed with a clothespin decorated with chicks!
Each chick, chicken, or hatching egg was heat embossed with white powder on Basic Black cardstock. I hand-cut them out with Paper Snips, which actually didn't take very long. I adhered each one to a hand-cut banner of Real Red Designer Series Paper with Stampin' Dimensionals, then added another hand-snipped banner stamped with a Hey Chick phrase.
I attached the banners to the clothespins with Stampin' Dimensionals, and adhered the chicks and banners with dimensionals too. This was a quick and easy way to package the cookies and everyone loved both the cookies and the re-usable package clip!
The "Tina Turner" chick took a little bit more fussy-cutting than the others, but it was worth it!
