Stampin’ Up! More Colorful Seasons for the August Stamp Camp!

Hey there! My Colorful Seasons stamp camp is fast approaching, and with everything going on this week (revival and I discovered an forgotten appointment on my calendar yesterday) I'm not as ready as I usually am by this day of the class week. I also start babysitting for Liam & Darcy tomorrow, so I have to get as much done today as I possibly can!

Swaps are coming to the rescue! I am finishing the insides of these two cards to add to the two I have created. (you haven't seen the 2nd one because it's been raining or dark when I had time to photograph it, but I will be taking pictures of a pile of fun creations soon!)

I received these two cards in swaps a couple of months ago. They have been in my display at events and I have lost the creators names, but they are beautiful cards that I would be proud to call mine!

This one could be considered more Daisy Delight than Colorful Seasons, but I love the combo of the Delightful Daisy Designer Paper, Daisy Delight and Colorful Season images, and Stitched Shapes and Layering Squares Framelits. The inside will be coordinated with the outside with a birthday sentiment.

This card combines the Adirondack chair cut with a Seasonal Layers Thinlet with the stamped beach chair from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. You can't tell in the picture, but we will be stamping on Shimmery White!

I don't usually use swaps for my class cards, as I like to use my original creations, but this week has been unusually hectic and crammed with other important non-stampy things, so I'm thankful I have swaps to turn to in a pinch!

I have one completed card and one as-yet-to-be-created card t0 show you. I hope to be able to share one of them with you tomorrow and the final one on Friday!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Colorful Seasons!

Hey there! I have new swaps coming in the mail next week, so I'm sharing a pile of Colorful Season before I get too behind!

First, Artisan Design Team member Kimberly Van Diepen combined the beach chair from Colorful Seasons and the Adirondak chair from Seasonal Layers Thinlets for her relaxing creation. The thinlet to cut the Island Indigo scallops along the side are included.

Next, BJ Peters used Basics Pack 1 Washi Tape on the Whisper White layer. This pack has Berry Burst, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry. She mounted on Berry Burst that was embossed with the Sparkle folder. A bit of White Baker's Twine and a brand-new In Color Glitter Acrylic Shape are the finishing touches!

Phyllis Johnson combined Colorful Seasons with Lovely Inside & Out for her card. Starting with a Crushed Curry Card base, she combined Crushed Curry and Perfect Plum for a beautiful leaf card that looks like sunny summer!

I love this quick and easy combo of Delightful Daisy Designer Paper, Daisy Delight stamps, and a Colorful Seasons greeting from Amy Combs. The layering of a Stitched Square and a scalloped Layering Square give a fresh and springy look!

Finally, Janice Weightman created a quick and easy card by stamping directly on the "paint-chip" design of the Color Theory Designer Series Paper. All she had to do is add the Basic Black Adirondak chair and a Glitter Enamel Dot to call it done!
