Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day November 11th!

Hey there! Today we're on the last leg of our trip home from the Stampin' Up! OnStage 30th Anniversary Event in Orlando, FL. Today is also my 16th Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!

The Christmas swaps I'm sharing today were all created with the Winter Woods Bundle!

First, a Winter WoodsBundle/Woodland Textured Impressions creation with the Black Ice technique by Angela Waters:

The 3/8" Basic Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon is the perfect finishing touch!

Next, Karen Kurz colored Shimmery Embossing Paste with Tranquil Tide and "maybe" Night of Navy reinkers to create a sparkly background for her cut-out Winter Woods trees!

The greeting is from the Annual Catalog set, Star of Light.

Finally, Ruth Ann Lilley stamped on the "negative" side of the Woodland Textured Impressions embossing folder with the Winter Woods tree before running through the Big Shot. The tree is "decorated" with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter sprinkled onto sponged Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Spirited Snowmen Snow Couple!

Hey there! The only image from the Spirited Snowmen set I hadn't used yet was the sweet snow couple, so I created another ornament with the Faux Diamond Dust technique just for them!

I started by stamping, cutting, and coloring all of my pieces as shown below. I stamped the snow couple with Memento Tuxedo Black in before coloring with my Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. I then cut the snow couple out with Paper Snips.

I cut the dark blue background from a print from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper pack. I adhered a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet, removed the backing to expose the stickiness, then adhered the snow couple and the Classic Label-punched sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.

After I sprinkled the stickiness with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Paper twinkled even more!

The "love never melts" sentiment fit perfectly in the Classic Label!

Stamping Rox Varied Vases!

Hey there! Varied Vases was another popular favorite for swap stamping on the Alaska Incentive Trip!

This pretty swap combines the Varied Vases Bundle (stamp set and Vases Builder Punch) with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions folder for the background and Garden Impressions 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper for the punched vases. The flowers are colored with a White Stampin' Chalk Marker.

The Varied Vases Bundle was combined with the Hexagons Dynamic folder, Letterboard Messages, and Tropical Chic stamp sets. Heat embossing with white embossing powder accomplished the white-on-black message.

Another use for white heat-embossing to highlight the white blooms on the Crumb Cake layer. I love this color combo of Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake, and Bermuda Bay!

The Tufted Dynamic folder embossed the Petal Pink background layer, then Garden Impressions Designer Paper and a piece of Whisper White 5/8" Polk Dot Ribbon highlight the focal image punched from Gold Glimmer Paper.

This one has the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions folder embossing the Whisper White background, a strip of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon, and "celebrate" cut with a Celebrate You Thinlet.

Stamping Rox Tropical Chic!

Hey there! The Tropical Chic Suite was a popular one for Alaska Cruise swaps, despite the fact we were about as far from the tropics as you could get!

This set is available in English and French in the US catalog, as well as German in Europe! The die to cut these tropical leaves is from the Tropical Thinlets Dies that are bundled with the Tropical Chic set. You know that when a set of stamps is "bundled" with thinlets, framelits, or a punch you automatically save 10% over the price of purchasing them separately, right?

This suite is perfect for cards, scrapbooking, AND 3-D giftables! This swap incorporated an Acetate Card Box with Tropical Escape 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and Granny Apple Green 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon! The greeting was punched with the Tailored Tag Punch.

Stampin’ Up! Broadway Bound Cruise Swaps!

My stint helping with the new baby ended last Friday, but with a granddaughter's birthday party, church, and the Perseid Meteor Shower to star-gaze with my husband, I've only had a chance to stamp ONE card!
