Stampin’Up! Acrylic Distressing with Rue Des Fleurs!

Here's the next project for Punch/Technique Class this Saturday, a technique Stampin' Up! featured in their Demonstrator-only  monthly magazine, "Stampin' Success"!

This pic really doesn't do this card or technique justice, as it is much softer (and clear!) in person! In a nutshell, this technique involves painting acrylic paint (97 cents at Wmart) over the cardstock, running through the Big Shot in an embossing folder, sanding, and then in some instances, sponging with ink! I chose to use the "Rue Des Fleurs" stamp set from the Occasions to feature with this technique because of its' vintagy-ness. I received this set while touring the Stampin' Up! Stamp Manufacturing Plant in Kanab, Utah, last September during my Founder's Circle trip, and I haven't used it enough, that's for sure!

Here's the inside:

Tomorrow I will have a technique card to show you using Stampin' Up!'s Wood Sheets!

Until then, thanks for stopping by and have a Stampingrox! Day
