Stampin’ Up! CASED cards for Christmas in July!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you a couple of cards I chose for my Christmas in July class right out of the bag of swaps I received recently. Many demonstrators trade card ideas with each other. It gives us extra ideas to share with our customers and friends at our parties and on our social media platforms. I loved these two cards so much I just had to copy them completely!

I received this card from Karen Titus. Karen used the Christmas Scottie bundle from the new July-December Holiday Mini Catalog along with Gingham Cottage Designer Paper for her swap!

When I was recreating her card I decided to use the Stamparatus to stamp the solid Scottie Dog image. With the Stamparatus I can stamp the same image multiple times until I get the deep dark ink coverage I need. Then I punched with the Scottie Dog Punch. The only thing I changed was to add the Real Red Glimmer paper punched bow under the twine-wrapped Flat Jingle Bell Trinket. I adhered the Scottie Dog with dimensionals and the bow & bell with glue dots.

The second card I CASED (Copy & Share Everything) was created by Susie Wood. Susie used the Sweet Candy Canes Bundle (stamps & dies) with Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper and a fun fold.

This card just takes a little bit of extra measuring and cutting on the base to get this unique fold!

Next, Karen Titus used the Elephant Parade stamp set, Abigail Rose Designer Paper, Tailor Made Tags dies, and Mini Pocket Envelope Dies (stitched oval greeting) for her sweet baby card.

Gail Connelly also used Elephant Parade stamps with Design a Daydream Host Designer Paper and the Cloud Punch to create a double z-fold baby card.

She did all of her coloring with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Such a cute, fun card!

Angela Waters used the Sweet Songbirds Bundle with the Dots & Spots Die (a Sale-a-bration $100 order freebie choice) for her bright & cheerful card

Jan Farring used the This Birthday Piggy set with Tea Boutique 6 x 6 Designer Paper to create this gate fold birthday card.

She stamped the cute inside sentiment with Highland Heather ink!

Finally, Lela Meinke also used This Birthday Piggy with Design a Daydream Host Designer Paper.

She added special touches with Iridescent Rhinestones, Clear Wink of Stella, and cutting out the balloon and popping it up on a dimensional!

Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Sneak Peek: Trees For Sale!

Hey there! I can't believe it's time to start thinking about making Christmas cards again, but with the 2022 July/December Mini Catalog starting this coming Friday and thinking about creating cards for my "Christmas in July" card class, I guess it is!

Last Friday I showed you a fall Mini Catalog Sneak with the Hello Harvest bundle of stamps and dies, so today I have a card created with products from the same catalog; Trees For Sale stamps and the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder.

Before embossing the Shaded Spruce layer I inked the inside of the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder with the White Craft Ink Pad. I love how it gives the trees a look of sprinkled snow! I stamped the largest solid tree with Shaded Spruce ink on Shaded Spruce card stock, then stamped the coordinating detailed tree over it with White Craft ink. After I cut out the tree with a coordinating Tree Lot Die (these dies are free with a $100 order during July or August from the Sale-a-bration brochure), I used a Blending Brush to add White Craft ink to the edges before adding it to the card front with dimensionals.

The string of lights was cut from White Glimmer Paper from the Real Red & White 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper found in the July/December 2022 Mini Catalog. I accented the lights with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I stamped the greeting from Trees For Sale with Real Red ink on a 3/4" x 3 1/4" strip of Basic White card stock. I cut the ends at parallel points with Paper Snips. I cut Shaded Spruce card stock with a die from the same die set, then used the same blending brush to add white craft ink before adhering to the card with tiny dots of liquid glue.

Inside I stamped another Trees For Sale sentiment with Real Red ink and a couple of the smaller solid trees from the set with Shaded Spruce.
