Stampin’ Up! Blossom Punch Strikes Again!

I really am in love with my Blossom Punch from the Occasions Mini! I love it so much I actually own three! I've been really using it at just about every workshop these past few months, as my stampers are crazy for it too! Here's another cool idea with this punch, using it to create "negative space" on your card!

Although this card looks "fussy", it actually turned out to be a pretty CAS (Clean-and-Simple) card for my stampers at the White Street church last night, so I think I will do it again at my next workshop! We used the Blossom Punch (of course!), and the Boho Blossoms Punch. I love the idea of using the "negative space" created after the punched piece is removed, and then in the case of the inside of the card, stamping in the negative space:

It made me laugh to add the "no matter what" to the admonishment on the front to "Get Well", which are stamps from the Petite Pairs and Perfectly Penned sets. I think if I received a card like this one I would know that I had no other option except to get well, wouldn't you?????

Well, I have to get ready, it's "workout" day at Jessica's and I have to be there before 8 a.m.! (yes, it's official, I DO MOVE!)

Another Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Treat Gatefold Card!

I actually made 2 different cards for the swap I participated in. Here's the second one using pretty much all the same supplies, including the Blossom Punch, Perfectly Penned, and the Cheerful Treat Hostess Designer Paper!

Stampin’ Up! Blossom Punch and Cheerful Treat Hostess Designer Paper!

Happy Saturday Morning! I am ready for my first of two Punch/Technique Classes this week, but first I need to show you this fun card I made for a swap I participated in this week using the Blossom Punch and Cheerful Treat DSP!

It's called a "Double Door" or "Gatefold" card. I found inspiration from Lyssa Zwolanek, then took the card to another level with several tweaks and changes!

Here's the really impressive part, when you open the card!

Simply fab! "Celebrate Today" is from "Perfectly Penned", the Whisper White flower center is from the "Blossom Party" Big Shot Originals Die, and the Glimmer Brad is Wild Wasabi from the Subtles Collection! The "latch" in the middle of the gate uses the "Word Window Punch", "friend" from "Fabulous Phrases", Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, and Basic Jewel Rhinestones! I attached the latch with a couple of Mini Glue-dots!

Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Penned Inviting

Today's post is another card from my January Birthday SAS. I had alot of fun designing this card. I used the "Berry Blossom" Designer Paper, some of the "Brights Patterns" Designer Paper Stack, the Triple Bouquet Blossom Punch, and of course, a fresh sucker stick! I purchased a few bags of the sticks at the "M" store a few years ago when it went out of business (can't imagine why?!) This card was a hit, especially because we used the "Perfectly Penned" stamp set too! The Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch flower is Stampin' Dimensionaled over the stick, and the stick is adhered with Mini Glue-dots!

After heat embossing with White E.P, the banner was hand-cut, we used Paper Snips and/or a square punch.

For the inside we used the "Inviting" stamp set. I think the "your're invited" phrase is perfect for this card, don't you! Amazing the possibilites there are in a set that you would normally only think of for invitations!

Well, I'm off to Quilt Class this morning! I'm behind, I only have 3 of the 10 squares completed! My bed quilt may turn into an afghan! lol!
