Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch Recap!

Posted on March 27, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! My dad was born on this date in 1907! He would be 113, but he left us for heaven over 25 years ago. Happy Birthday in heaven, Daddy!

Today I'm re-capping all of my Pleased As Punch Designer paper creations. I've gathered them into one more post so you can decide if you want to order a pack (or two!) of this scrumptious paper!

First, a covered mini-composition book and coordinating card. You can view the whole post and download the free instructions, HERE.

Next, I used the Umbrella Builder Punch on the printed umbrellas from another print of Pleased As Punch. View the post and get the directions HERE.

I black heat-embossed the Beautiful Day butterfly and sentiment on this piece of Pleased As Punch, then punched out the flowers from the other side. View it HERE, then download the directions!

I used the Timless Tulips with Pleased As Punch designer for this card. Details and free directions, including TWO techniques HERE.

I combined Pleased As Punch with the So Sentimental bundle on this card. Get the directions HERE.

I cut a tag with a Bonanza Die for my focal image of this Under My Umbrella card. Details and directions HERE.

Finally, I punched hearts from Pleased As Punch to create these two baby cards. You'll find all of the details and directions HERE.

Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella Pleased As Punch #2!

Posted on March 25, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! I can't seem to stop playing with the Pleased As Punch Designer Paper, which just means you get to see more cute stuff!

The card I'm sharing today was created with the Under My Umbrella stamp set and Bonanza Dies:

I used both sides of the umbrella print sheet from Pleased As Punch, and cut the Flirty Flamingo tag with a Bonanza Die. The polka dot tulle ribbon is the perfect touch!

I stamped the flowers first with black ink, then colored with Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, and Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the boots directly on the designer paper, then cut them out with Paper Snips. This technique is called "paper piecing".

Stampin’ Up! This Calls for Confetti!

Posted on March 24, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! With extra time at home and my family staying home too, although I am missing my children and grandchildren greatly, I am getting more time to stamp! I will get around to cleaning eventually! lol!

Today I have another card I created with the Pleased As Punch Designer Paper and the So Sentimental bundle:

The heat-embossed greeting on Coastal Cabana is from So Sentimental and cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die. The Blushing Bride mat behind it is cut with the same die, then cut in half and "stretched" to peek out from behind the front. I added varying shapes of Peaceful Poppies Sequins with tiny dots of liquid glue for a "confetti effect".

I colored the Gold 3/8" Metallic-edge Ribbon with a Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blend.

Inside a added blooms punched with the Small Bloom punch around the Bonanza Buddies sentiment.

Here’s the FREE pdf tutorial for you!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Posted on March 22, 2020 by Carol Payne

Hey there! After a long absence, today I'm bringing back Sunday Swap Day! Let's jump right in!

First, Timeless Tulips by Karen Davis. The sentiment and designer paper is from Peaceful Moments.

Next, Judi Anderson combined Buffalo Check with Timeless Tulips:

Ruth Bingle also used Timeless Tulips to create her easel card with the Basket Weave 3D folder and Story Label Punch.

I love this one with Positive Thoughts, Nature's Thoughts Dies, and Birthday Bonanza Designer, but there's no name!

NOTE: The Positive Thoughts stamp set is available through June 2nd, but Nature's Thoughts Dies are retiring after March 31st.

Finally, Sacha Wilson used Birthday Bonanza Designer Paper with the So Sentimental Bundle for a fun birthday card!

How are you all holding up during this "shelter in place" thing? I hope you're safe, healthy, and finding time to craft. Stamping is such great therapy for me. If I'm anxious about anything, first I pray, then I lose myself in a project! A great combination.

If you need supplies, here's the list for today. Stampin' Up! is still shipping orders!

Timeless Tulips Bundle (English)	Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set (English)	Tulip Builder Punch
Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set	Nature's Thoughts Dies	Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set (English)
Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder	Buffalo Check Cling-Mount Stamp Set	Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set
Nature's Thoughts Dies	Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper	So Sentimental Bundle (English)
