Hello! Big party last night for Liam's first birthday! It's hard to believe he's one already! Time sure does fly, especially when it's a little one's first year!

He started seriously pursuing walking the night Cousin Oakley was born:

His Dragon Cake! Ever since Liam was a little guy his theme has been castles, knights, and dragons! This cake was a collaboration between his mommy and daddy.

He needed a little help from both parents to blow out his candles!

Licking the icing off the cupcake is the best part!

We told Maddie Kate to "settle down" she was being so rowdy! lol!

Whenever Jaxon sees me with Liam he wants up in my arms too! Of course that really makes me mad. NOT!!!!

Finally, Liam's birthday card. Of course I had to create my own version of the dragon/dinosaur card that's been around the net for awhile:

Some of the elements of this creation were determined by what was available on my craft table. Jaxon was taking a nap in my supplies room, so this card became a "limited supplies challenge"!
