Hey there! Today I want to share with you a project I created with another oldie-but-goodie: the envelope gift card holder!
Super-easy and economical to make, I made these for my swap this month! The base of the holder is a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope, folded in half, the flap cut in half on the fold line, and one flap adhered down while the other flap remains to insert the gift card!
I embellished it with Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper (on sale 15% off this month!) and images from both Wrapped in Christmas and Warm Hugs.
The Warm Wraps Dies contains everything you need to cut out the sentiments and the tree, heart, and candy canes! I cut the greeting layers on the front with Stitched Rectangle Dies and tied it closed with a length of Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Here's the basic dimensions to cover the folds of the holder:
Front, and inside Garden Green layers: 2 3/4" x 4 3/8" – need two
Toile Tidings layer: 2 5/8" x 4 1/8" – need two
Garden Green for flap: 2 7/8" x 2 1/4" for layer below the flap: 2 7/8" x 3 5/8"
Toile Tidings layer below the flap: 2 5/8" x 3 3/8"
Garden Green front focal image mat: 2" x 3 1/2"
Very Vanilla for front focal image: 2" x 3"
Everything else is scraps of Very Vanilla & Garden Green
