Stampin’ Up! Garden Lane Scrappy Strips!

Hey there! I have finally jumped on the Scrappy Strip technique bandwagon with this card created with Daisy Lane stamps and Garden Lane Designer paper!

Scrappy Strips is a super-easy way to use up all of those little strips of paper that you never know what to do with! Too pretty to throw away, but too small to do much with, I usually just keep them forever! I pulled out all of those little strips, used my paper trimmer to cut one side of each strip just slightly diagonal, and started laying them on a piece of Whisper White card stock, leaving a thin bit of white showing between each strip. When I was done, I used my paper snips to trim off the excess portion of the strip extending beyond the edge of the white card stock.

I used the small daisy from Daisy Lane to stamp and punch out two Mint Macaron daisies, then sandwiched a plain white one in between them with liquid glue. I finished the daisy with a now-retiring Clear Faceted Gem. I heat embossed the "Smile" greeting with white powder and Versamark ink.

Inside I chose to use a sentiment from the now-retiring Beautiful Day.
