Hey there! After featuring Valentines yesterday for my Sunday Swap Day, I just couldn't resist creating a Valentine of my own the the limited-edition Follow My Heart stamp set:

I used the Raspberry Ripple and Whisper White cardstock, cutting out my hearts with the two hearts Hearts A Flutter Framelits Collection (#130159 $24.95).

After I cut out the scalloped heart on the Whisper White layer I then stamped the greeting with Raspberry Ripple ink in the bottom right corner. After letting the ink dry for a few moments, I inserted the layer into the Arrows Textured Impressions Folder with the stamped area sticking out of the bottom so it would not be embossed. I'm pretty happy with the result!

I adhered the embossed layer over a second layer the same color and size with several Stampin' Dimensionals underneath to hold up the open heart as well as the edges.

The finishing touch is the tiny Rhinestone Basic Jewel I added to the Raspberry Ripple heart I layered in the middle of the scalloped heart, also with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I completed the inside with the rest of the images from the Follow My Heart set, all stamped with Raspberry Ripple ink. I just LOVE the detail of the Eiffel Tower, don't you?

This card would make a perfect Valentine or Anniversary card! We will be making this card at some of my workshops this month, yay!

That's all for now! We are sort of "snowed-in" again, but really it's more of a "blowed-in" than snow. We got a couple of inches of snow today, so church was cancelled tonight and schools are cancelled tomorrow, but the real problem right now is the extreme cold and the high winds. It's driving the cold literally into every tiny crack or opening in everyone's home. A couple of times the wind hit our house so hard it sounded almost like thunder!
