Hey there! I have one more Celebrate Sunflowers card to share with you today. I've been seeing the trend of a new sized card called a "slim-fold", so when one of my stampers asked to make one I decided to give it a try!
A "slim" card is 8" x 9", scored and folded at 4". This card will fit in a regular business-sized envelope and should only need one first-class stamp as long as you keep the layers to a minimum.
After stamping the sunflowers with Tuxedo Black ink (the best ink to stamp when you are going to color with Stampin' Blends because the alcohol in the blends doesn't dissolve the tuxedo ink) I colored with Mango Melody Stampin' Blends and added Clear Wink of Stella to the center of the colored sunflowers. I also colored around them with Light Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends.
The beauty of the "slim" card is there is more room to really let the larger images shine.
