Hey there! Yesterday I played with the new Butterfly Brilliance Bundle, a sneak peek from the New Annual Catalog you can order on March 2nd. I used the Faux Linen technique!
To create this "Faux Linen" look, stamp your images on regular tissue paper. After stamping, crumple the paper, smooth it out, then adhere to a Basic White panel with a thin layer of liquid glue., leaving bumps and ripples in the tissue. My tissue paper was already crumpled when I stamped the Butterfly Bouquet images. Wrap the excess tissue to the back side of the panel, securing with adhesive.
I heat-embossed the same butterfly images on Coastal Cabana card stock, then cut with matching Brilliant Wings Dies. My white-embossed butterfly looks a bit yellow, don't you think? I may have over-heated the powder with my heat tool, which is why the butterfly looks a bit scorched.
I used a greeting from Fancy Phrases, punched with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.
Inside I used another Fancy Phrases sentiment.
