Stampin’ Up! New Catalog, New Stamps, New Colors!

Hey there! Today is the day! The New Annual Catalog goes live this afternoon at 1 p.m Mountain Time! I hope you have your wish list ready! I have mine! lol!

While we are waiting for the New Annual Catalog to go live so we can start placing our orders, I want to share with you a group of fun cards I created with New In Colors and the Tasteful Touches Bundle. Found on pages 122-124 in the New Annual Catalog, I had fun playing and creating with it!

Here's the Misty Moonlight version up close!

After heat-embossing the leafy sprigs and "lace" with white powder I dry-embossed the entire Misty Moonlight layer with the Scripty 3D Embossing folder. After assembling the card I added a few 2020/2022 In Color Enamel Dots.

The Tasteful Touches bloom was heat-embossed with white on Crumb Cake, then painted with the a "white craft ink wash" using a blender pen.

I used a greeting from the new Many Mates stamps set, punched with the Classic Label Punch.

Inside I simply heat embossed the Tasteful Touches sentiment and bloom.

Stampin’ Up! Dressed to Impress Swaps!

The bundle I am sharing with you today is from the Best Dressed Suite in the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog. These stamps and dies will be available when the New Catalog goes live tomorrow at 1 p.m. MT, but the coordinating Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and other notions in the suite will not. Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Stitched All Around!

Hey there! Only two days left before the Retiring List expires and the New Annual Catalog begins! Today I have another birthday card I created with the retiring Stitched All Around stamp set, Stitched Shapes dies, and Pressed Petals Specialty Designer paper.

I added a bit of 5/16" Braided Burlap Trim behind the sentiment layers to add some texture. I frayed the ends of the trim before adhering with a thin line of liquid glue.

I really like this sentiment from Stitched All Around. I'm sorry to see it and the Stitched Labels Dies, one of which I used to cut the Merry Merlot mat behind the sentiment, retire tomorrow. I used a Stitched Shapes Die to cut out the sentiment oval after heat embossing the sentiment with white powder. (Stitched Shapes Dies are on the retiring list, but they are not really retiring, just being re-configured for the new catalog launch)

The inside sentiment is also from Stitched All Around. I really like the look of white heat-embossing on Crumb Cake; it really pops! I added a 1/2" strip of the Pressed Petals Specialty to the lower front of the envelope as well as the envelope flap. Using the same designer paper on the envelope really gives that "custom-made" look!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Clubhouse!

Hey there and happy Sunday to you! Is your church starting back to in-person services yet? Mine starts next Sunday! yay!

With the New Annual Catalog starting on Wednesday, June 3rd at 1 p.m MT, there's not much time left to order from the Retiring List. The swap cards I'm sharing with you today are all from the Clubhouse Bundle. It WON'T be carrying over, so if you fall in love with it today you'd better order it today!

There are two advantages to ordering the bundle vs separately ordering the stamps & dies:

This Golf Club dies cut a realistically-textured golf ball!

This inside sentiment is perfect!
Ellen Barner combined the carrying-over Mountain Air bundle with the Clubhouse bundle. She colored the golfer and the golf ball with Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, Pineapple Punch, and Ivory Stampin' Blends
She added Clear Wink of Stella to the stamped and cut-out golf-ball for some shine:

She used the Mountain Air stamps for the towering hills in the background the Majestic Mountain Dies to cut the pine tree outline for the horizon:

Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around!

Hey there! Just a few more days left until the Retiring List expires and the New Annual Catalog goes live, so I have a few more cards left to share with you created with retiring items.

My card today is created with the retiring stamp set, Stitched All Around, as well as Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper:

My color combo of Rococo Rose and Merry Merlot is so elegant and vintage! I punched a 1/2" circle of Merry Merlot, then embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder to finish the center of the bloom I created with the Daisy Punch and Medium Daisy punch.

After heat embossing the greeting with white powder, I cut it out with an Ornate Frames die. I'm so glad those dies are carrying over to the new catalog!

Inside I heat embossed another Stitched All Around sentiment on Merry Merlot, then cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die so more of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Paper would show.
