I made this shadow box using the “Season of Thanks” Decor Element for my Secret Sister at church. Our Christmas reveal party was scheduled for this past Tuesday, but it was canceled due to bad weather, so here it still sits, a gift un-given! I put the Decor Element on the front glass of a shadowbox I purchased at Hobby Lobby, covered the back board with Ski Slope paper, and filled it with a piece of Christmas garland and potpourri I also had purchased from the same store. I also made her a card: All images©Stampin’Up!1990-2008
I used Ski Slope paper again, and the “Home for Christmas” stamp set from the Holiday Mini. You can’t tell it in the picture, but I embossed the image with White embossing powder mixed one-to-one with Iridescent Ice e.p. I hope I get a chance to give her her gift soon, but I doubt it will be before Christmas, so she won’t really get to enjoy the full effect until next year!
Tomorrow I plan to post some pics of cards I’ve received so far this year from my stampers and downline!
