Stampin’Up! Retiring Flower Fancy Continued!

Happy Friday to you all! The watercoloring class this Saturday and next Monday is going to be so much fun! We will be learning 7 different ways to watercolor using the Watercolor Wonder Crayons! Once again, we will be using the retiring "Flower Fancy" and "Sincere Salutations" stamp sets!

For this first sample we will be coloring the crayon directly onto the stamp, then lightly spritzing it with water before stamping onto the cardstock:

The same technique was used on the inside, but I must have spritzed more heavily because the color was much more "watery" here! This phrase from "Full of Life" coordinates beautifully with the "Thanks so much" on the front!

These last two samples are stamped on Watercolor Paper, which gives them a completely different look than on Whisper White!

Lastly, this sample uses the "Salted Background" technique! Unfortunately, I was too impatient to allow the salt to dissolve completely as the piece air-dried, so I sped up the process with my heat tool and blew all the salt away!

That's all for today! I will be back tomorrow with another version of the "get well" mug!

Until then, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!
