Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Words!

Hey there! In case you haven't noticed, the "watercolor" look is a hot trend right now, and Stampin' Up! is on top of the trend with several "watercolor" stamp sets!

One of those sets is "Watercolor Words". I used it for a quick and easy card at my Birthday Card Buffet this past weekend:

This card is super-simple to make and easy to mail because it's sooooo flat!

I stamped all of the flowers, which are included in the Watercolor Words set, with Rose Red ink, stamping a second time before re-inking. This technique is called "generation stamping", because you are achieving more than one shade of color with the same ink!

After I stamped all of the flowers and the greeting I embossed with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Folder.

I kept my embellishments to a minimum by only adding one tiny rhinestone to the front and inside.

If you are a beginning stamper, this set and this card would be a great one for you!
