Stampin’ Up! Lucky Elephant!

Hey there! My youngest son, Ben, has been an elephant fan since he was little, so I had to have Lucky Elephant!

I used the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack to guide my color palette.

While sorting old swaps I found this unique fold. I had plenty of room to stamp the bold "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from Big on Birthdays with Island Indigo on the 5 1/4" x 6 1/2" panel BEFORE I scored and folded at 2", 4" and 6".

I stamped the elephant with Sahara Sand, then the blanket on a separate piece of Very Vanilla, inking with Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango. I cut out the blanket with Paper Snips and adhered with SNAIL BEFORE cutting out with a scalloped Layering Squares Framelit. The sentiment is also from Big on Birthdays.

My finishing touch was to add some Sprinkles Embellishments from the Cool Treats Suite using my Fine Tip Glue Pen and "tacky toothpick"! If you want instructions to make your own "tacky toothpick" check out my March 7th post HERE.

  1. AT what measurement do you glue the 6 inch fold? This is really special. Are there any other directions for this fold? Thank You

  2. Hi Kate! I will work on a tutorial for this fold and post it as soon as I can! The fold is adhered depending on how the size of your window and where it is placed on your card, if that helps any at all for now. Check back, I will be posting it soon!
