Stampin’ Up! Basket Bunch Folded Paper Frame!

Hey there! Today I have another Basket Bunch card featuring the Folded Paper Frame!

When I first saw cards made with this fold, I was thought, "how did they cut that paper so perfectly?" BUT, after some "reverse engineering" with the sample I received I realized it is just a simple square of designer series paper with each corner folded into the center and then the points folded back to touch the sides! NO CUTTING AND SO EASY!

I embossed some Sweet Sugarplum In Color Envelope Paper with the Falling Petals Textured Folder, and added a piece of Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine tied in a bow. I tied a knot in the end of each end and then frayed it using a Paper-Piercing Tool.

I used a phrase from the Sale-a-bration set, So Very Much, on the inside. Only a few more days left before Sale-a-bration will be over!

  1. Carol:
Your card is beautiful. Love the Additional square. What is the size did you cut/make the square and how far in did you cut at each corner?

  2. The square is 4″ x 4″. It isn’t cut at all. I just marked the center with a pencil dot, then folded each corner in to touch the dot, which makes it look like the paper has been cut, but it hasn’t. Then the points are folded back to touch the folds on each side. Hope that helps!
